Summary:

Taehyung told Jimin to find him where the wild things are. Jimin brought Mathan with him. Then and there in the stifling practice room the three of them discovered what wild things they really were.

Jimin stretched as he looked at his reflection in the practice room mirror, a sliver of skin peeking out from beneath his old faded t-shirt.

"Hyung," he started, turning slightly to look at Mathan who now served as head of security for BTS.

"Jimin?"

"Why has Taehyung-ah been avoiding me?" Jimin asked innocently.

"Kim Taehyung has been avoiding everyone," Mathan said softly.

"Why?" Jimin asked as he turned away from his reflection.

Mathan looked up from the papers he was filling out to consider the boy before him.

"Just give him time," he said softly. "He'll come around."

"Is he...here?" Jimin asked as he was suddenly filled with guilt.

"I think he's in the studio," Mathan said, picking up his phone and looking at his locator.

"Do you...think...? Should we..." Jimin asked, toeing the floor beneath his foot.

"Should we check on him?" Mathan asked, trying to catch the younger boy's eyes.

Jimin could only nod.

"Do you want to?"

"Mmm," Jimin said, biting his lip as he thought of what to say.

He knew why Kim Taehyung had been avoiding him. He knew what he had been doing with Min Yoongi had hurt the boy in ways Jimin had never meant to let happen.

"Do you want me to go with you?" Mathan offered, sensing the other man's discomfort.

"Would you?" Jimin asked, sounding hopeful as he looked at the man before him.

Mathan heaved a sigh and nodded, gathering up his materials and shoving them in his bag before getting to his feet.

These two were going to be the death of him one day.

"Why don't you go on ahead and I'll call for a car," Mathan suggested. "I'll meet you in the lobby."

"Okay," Jimin said, giving the man a small, nervous smile.

Taehyung had been warned that Jimin was on his way and groaned. He really didn't want to see the man right now. His mind was a blur and his emotions were barely contained. He knew he had been giving Jimin the cold shoulder these last few weeks, and while everyone else had blamed it on the impending comeback, Taehyung knew...

Mathan-ah: You cannot hide these feelings forever. They obviously aren't going away, and if you don't say something now, it's only going to make things worse.

Kim Taehyung: I have no idea what you are talking about...

Mathan-ah: I hear you when you think everyone else is sleeping.
