Leandra watched from above, smiling as they danced to the melody of their own heartbeats.——
He got closer and closer to the shallow grave. Beautiful grass surrounded it and the front read, "LEANDRA HAWKE". He rested a blossoming bunch of crystal grace beside it and sat down with his knees crossed. He stayed there for a moment, taking deep breaths, collecting his thoughts, and murmuring a long prayer. He pushed his silver hair back and adjusted his posture. He had been preparing for this moment since the second he rekindled his romance with Hawke, which had been a year ago. He considered asking Gamlen, but thought better of it when he recalled how rude and inappropriate the bastard was.
Leandra had always adored Fenris and his relationship with Hawke and while he expected no answer, he figured it would be respectful to recite his intentions.
He opened his mouth and from his lips poured: "They say you go to the Maker's side when you die, I can only imagine that is where you are now. Hawke has done well, he is the strongest person I know, you would be proud. You made mistakes as a parent, as do we all. I want to raise a family with him, I think you would be a good person to look up to. If you were capable of raising a man so perfect, you couldn't have possibly been bad. I'm going to spend the rest of my life with him. I don't know if you can hear me... but I just wanted to thank you. You always were very accommodating. He told me he saw you, after we dealt with Corypheus. He didn't want to talk about it, I just hope you told him about Carver and Bethany, that it wasn't his fault. He blames himself enough as it is. I'm not sure how you did it, but thank you. I imagine I seem very silly right now, I just thought I would ask you for his hand in marriage, though you can't give me an answer."
He felt a gust of wind brush against his neck, causing the hairs to prick up. As if it carried a whisper, he heard a series of phrases:
"I'm sorry. Yes. Please. Take care of him. I love you. My son."
Most of these he couldn't decipher, and he was unsure if it was meant to address him or Hawke. A comforting smile had crawled up his face. He took this sign as a yes, and he thanked her profusely. Deciding it was time to address his soon to be husband, he stood and started back to Kirkwall.
