Your POV
After they extracted your saliva and blood, you guys immediately left the building. After that nerve-wracking meeting with the Mayor, Michiru thought about buying you a refreshment and you thanked her for the free drink. Now you two are walking on the sidewalk heading to the shop.
Shirou has already left the both of you and went straight back home with the reason: "I have important things to do"
You and Michiru went to the shop the latter told you about where she'll buy the refreshments. Michiru bought her orange juice box and a (favourite drink) for you. After you both got your drinks, you left the shop and took a seat on an empty bench. You took a sip from your drink and released a sigh of relief.
"Thank goodness that was quick"
You took another sip. Michiru chuckled and said,
"See? I told you, there's nothing for you to be afraid of"
"Yeah, I was scared for nothing. I'll try to be calm next time we meet, it was embarrassing when I reintroduced myself and now my brain thought it should be a core memory"
You both laughed amongst yourselves until Michiru's phone rang causing her attention to be stripped away from your friendly bonding. She took it out of her pocket and answered the call.
"Hello?...oh, Melissa-san do you need something?...Oh I see, okay we'll be there"
The phone call ended short and she slid her phone back into her pocket. Michiru glances at you and asked.
"(Y/N), Melissa asked me to buy just a few groceries. Do you wanna come with me?"
"Hmm...yeah, sure!"
"Alright cool!"
Michiru exclaimed before she stood up along with you and began your venture to the mart. The grocery store was just a few walks away so it was pretty quick and just like what Michiru said, you guys only bought a couple of items and she is currently in the coffee section after she had the main items in her basket.
"Huh, black coffee. I bet that's Shirou's request"
Michiru said to herself before placing a bag of black coffee powder in the grocery basket, but she suddenly sighed.
"There was never a day that Shirou doesn't drink coffee"
You chuckled lightly because you noticed it too, you would see a cup of coffee in his hands every time you see him.
"Well, I like coffee but not as much as Shirou. It's just what makes us adults feel active"
You guys were now done with the small grocery and now you guys are walking outside, heading back home.
"It's cool that you have that much money with you, Michiru"
"Yeah, it's not really that much but thanks anyway"
