Alan's POV
"My name is (Y/N) (L/N)"
She said as she took my hand for a handshake, although I can sense a bit of hesitation from her action.
"I am Alan Sylvasta"
After the handshake, I looked at her once more before taking notice that she is soaking wet. And of course, for I am a gentleman, I asked her about it.
"Have you been swimming earlier?"
(Y/N) flinched at what I said.
"Uhm! This...I accidentally fell in the water!"
I raised my eyebrows at her reply because it sounded more of an excuse than an honest answer. But I decided to shrug it off. Then an idea pops into my head, I lean down to her height.
"Would you like me to help you with your problem?"
I don't know why I even bothered to think that I'll help her, but...it just feels like I had to.
2nd Person POV:
You blush at what Alan just said and you try to think of another meaning of what he said.
'You're misinterpreting things (Y/N)! Stop it, have some respect!'
"Well?"
He asked again, snapping you out of your thoughts. Taking notice of the proximity between the two of you, you slowly leaned away and kept a composed posture. You're still unsure of what to answer, you don't want to be rude and say no to his attempt at helping but this Alan is a complete stranger...
"You can just say 'no' you know"
Alan backed away with lips forming a thin line.
'This man is just as serious as Shirou...'
The reason you're hesitant is that you're not used to the feeling of having a human help you willingly.
"I...I'm sorry for spacing out, but uhm, I still need to take this girl back to her home just to make sure she's safe"
'That means no, Alan'
"Oh, of course, I understand. Well, best be on your way then, Miss (Y/N) and little girl"
Alan said with a small smile as he made way for you and the girl, you smiled back at him.
"Thank you, Mr. Sylvasta. I'm really sorry about earlier"
"It's fine, you didn't break any bones anyways. Because if you did, I wouldn't hesitate to file a case in you"
Alan said with the same smile but it was a rather menacing smile that held a threat behind it.
You walk past him and are just about to leave, but you forgot to tell Alan something.
