The sun peek over the buildings of Scarlet City and all was calm on the streets. The sidewalk was packed with citizens who were just trying to get to work during the morning.

But the peaceful streets were interrupted by a speeding armored truck from the bank. The driver was fleeing from the police as he drove through the busy traffic, crashing through the numerous taxi cars. The driver was Dolph Winnick, a British mobster who managed to escape from prison. His first attempt at crime today was to successfully hijack the money truck while his comrades shot at the police from the back.

Meanwhile, Wilbur was fast asleep in his dormitory. He spend all night working on his science homework that he'd been putting off for weeks. Wilbur had a lot of missing assignments scattered across his table. Being Red Dragonfly took a lot of time out of his makeup work.

He was woken up by the sound of the crime notification being sent to on his phone. Wilbur waved his hand in the air as he was half asleep, thinking it was probably his alarm clock. His eyes fluttered open as the buzzing on his phone only got louder. Wilbur rose up from his bed as his eyes darted towards his phone. He clicked on the notification to see that there was a car chase in progress. This information was sent to him by his mother Rosemary and his mentor Russell.

His eyes widened as he looked at Ethan, who was sleeping in his bed across the room. Wilbur rose up and stretches his arms out, reaching into his closet for his suit.

It was a usual routine for Wilbur as Red Dragonfly. Ever since he saved Scarlet City from Blue Dasher, Russell and Rosemary have been more help looking out for him more.

As Wilbur got suited up, Ethan yawned softly as he peeked over his covers to see this. "Another bad guy?" Ethan said, rubbing his eyes as this was just expected at this point.

"Yeah, there's a hijacking in progress that I gotta take care of." Wilbur said casually as he slid on his mask. "I'll be back before class starts."

"Class doesn't start until 9:00." Ethan replied, clearly tired. "If you're running late, I'll put in a good word for you. Go whoop some ass."

Wilbur smirked as he leaped out of the window, wings sprouting out of his back as he flew into the city. Wilbur turned on his com to get in touch with Russell as he flew across the city, catching the eye of onlookers on the ground.

"Wilbur, are you there?" Russell asked through the com, typing on his keyboard as he tried to trace down the ongoing armored vehicle.

"Yup, I am!" Wilbur said as he guided above the streets, searching for the car chase. "Which shortcut can I take to catch up to this guy?" He would say, trying to find Winnick.

Russell searched for directions on his computers, finding that Wilbur was only 3 blocks away from the action. "Take a flight path around Jackson Drive." Russell recommended.

"I'm on it!" Wilbur flew across the block, catching up to the reckless driving of the armored vehicle. Dolph cackled loudly as he swerved into a police car beside him, speeding away from the cops as the police car went out of control, almost hitting a girl on the street before the Red Dragonfly flew in and saved her.

The girl corrected her glasses, shooken up by the near death experience as the hero helped her up. "Oh wow....thank you so much....you're Red Dragonfly." The girl spoke, blushing as she was pretty flustered.

Red Dragonfly helped her with her backpack and school ID to see that her name was Rebecca Sparks and she actually goes to Phoenix Academy. "The mask and antennas give it away, huh Rebecca?" Red Dragonfly quipped, handing her back her backpack.
