HELLCAGE PRISON - 40 KILOMETERS AWAY FROM SCARLET CITY
Prison Transfer Trucks drove from the boat onto the grassy path of the secure island. Calvin Frost was in the backseat, shifting softly as the truck drove over the bumpy path.
The truck pulled up at the entrance as the guards opened the door, pulling the cuffed up Calvin out slowly and into the facility. He could hear the rowdy shouts and jeers of the prisoners behind bars before getting led downstairs to the supervillain floor.
Calvin's metal shackles clanged in a rhythmic pattern as he passed the glass cells of the super-powered villains that were put in there by, yours truly, Red Dragonfly. Calvin was only in the city jail for a few weeks before being shipped off to Hellcage for the weekend. All these new inmates with powers were new to him. "What's with all the freaks up in here? Did I miss something?" Calvin scoffed softly.
"Everyone's got a gimmick now." The prison guard said as he rolled his eyes softly. They finally got to the cell and uncuffed him, pushing Calvin in with a smirk. "Enjoy your new cellmate." The cell door was slammed shut as Calvin looked over to see...who else?
CAPTAIN FRISBEE!
His new 'cellmate' looks up from the magazine he was reading and jumped up out of the bunkbed to say hi to him. "Wassup, new cell buddy!" He spoke to Calvin with a smirk, extending his hand for a handshake. "The name's Reggie Scallon, marksman, mastermind, thief and common criminal at your service!"
Calvin cringed softly. He could tell that this guy was gonna be a pest. "So, I heard that you were the freeze guy. And may I say, big fan! The gimmick works so well!" Reggie spoke at a rapid pace. "Hey! Did you happened to come across that Red Dragonfly guy? That guy is a total cun-"
"Do you have anything that'll drown out your voice?" Calvin shot back, sitting on the bottom bunk. "Ah haha! A little cellmate humor, I see!" Reggie chuckled softly, nudging his shoulder softly. "Don't touch me." Calvin scowled.
Later that afternoon, it was lunchtime. One of the prison guards pushed a cart of metal lunch trays down the hall to the inmates. Tonight, they were having lasagna with mac and cheese. He passed it down from Mister Dizziness and Puppet Monger all the way to Grimbreath and Vanity.
The guard knocked on the glass cell, waking Calvin up out of his nap. "Lunchtime, losers." He slipped both trays through the slott of the cell. Reggie jumped up and grabbed his tray, rubbing his hands together and licking his lips. "Hey, I was supposed to get a honey bun with this."
"Sorry Scallon. You get what you get." The guard smirked softly, flipping him off. "You act like we're not supervillains, pal. If I could get out of here, I would use my frisbees to slice that shit eating grin off your face." Reggie said, pressing his face against the glass cell before getting shoved out of the way by Calvin.
Calvin grabbed his tray and sat back in his bed, grabbing his spork to eat. "Just remember who has the freedom, freak." The guard hissed back before wheeling away with the lunch cart. Reggie scoffed softly, sitting next to Calvin on the bottom bunk. "Ugh, can't stand these dickhole guards! They always think they're better than us!" Reggie complained.
"Uh-huh." Calvin said while eating, mostly ignoring Reggie's bickering.
"Like, I swear...if I could find a way to break out of here, I would! Know what I mean, my guy?" Reggie said, nudging his arm several times to drive home his point.
