3rd Person's POV

Busy? Not really. The boys were having a little pause in the music part. Though, one person was contemplating whether he should go see someone.

That's our one and only Kim (Y/n). Jennie kept on sending him text messages and sometimes call him too. She wanted to talk to him again.

Of course she already did, but did it fix things? No. Nothing can fix this unless she agrees to be with him or he will completely let her go.

Day after day Jennie keeps on inviting (Y/n) for a cup of coffee in hopes of fixing their broken friendship. What she didn't realise is there's something more broken than their friendship.

I'll let you guess what it is. A little clue is, It has something to do with someone's heart.

"I know you're ignoring me...just one please?"

"Fine, Meet me at the café in an hour"

He promised himself that he would forget...look at him now. Actually this isn't the first time (Y/n) almost gave up on Jennie Kim.

~FLASHBACK START~

3rd Person's POV

It all started with a stupid promise...

Jennie Kim wasn't that popular when they were still elementary. She would always get bullied for being a transferee from New Zealand. Telling her that she doesn't belong there. That's until (Y/n) came.

"(Y/n)! Promise me that you will always be by my side." A much younger jennie said.

"Ofcourse! I'll stick by you everytime." He shouted while hugging the other girl

"I'll be in your care then (Y/n)-ssi" She giggled

"That sounds lame! Call me (Y/n)!"

Years passed and they were still the same. The only difference is...they were becoming more mature. The latter grew taller and more built.

While Ms. Cat Eyed Girl became famous. She had longer brown hair. She also grew taller but slimmer too. She was gorgeous. In other words, He saw her as a woman.

However, she grew distant. She was gaining more friends because of her popularity. You were happy for her of course, but her new "friends" were asking more of her time. Gently snatching her away from your hands.

Nowadays, both of you don't get to hang out much. It was always...

"I'm sorry (Y/n)...My friends invited me to go somewhere. I promise you! We'll hang out soon!"

Though the promise never came. The school would always invite her to sing everytime there's an event. Her newly found friends would always hang out with her after she performed.

While you? You were contented being on the sidelines. Cheering her on for every good thing that's happening to her.

Then one day, a new transfer student came. She was beautiful. Boys from their school were drooling at her feet. She instantly became famous and of course that includes friends.

You were walking home when you heard a sob coming from the school's garden as you passed by.

After you saw who it was, you ran towards her and wrapped your arms around her shoulders.
