Chapter 18: Confrontation

Your POV

Should I still go to her? I shouldn't right? But why do I still find myself coming back to you? It hurts...so much.

After that news, I went straight to Blackpink's Dorm hoping to get everything sorted out. Or at least I'm hoping that Jennie dating Kai is just for publicity.

A few moments I arrived at their front door. Somehow I can't bring myself to go inside. I was frozen.

Here goes nothing...

"You wanted to talk?" I approached her as I saw her sitting on the living room's couch.

"You probably saw the news" She started

"And?" I replied getting anxious every second.

"It's true...and I want you to stop seeing me." My heart just broke on the spot.

"W-what?" I just couldn't believe what she was saying.

"You heard it. I want you to stop having those feelings for me." Every word that came out of her mouth made a huge blow to me.

"Jennie...You can't just tell me to stop loving you and expect me to actually stop. It's not something I can control!" By this time, I felt warm liquid running down my face. Raising my voice as I said that. I was devastated.

"I know that! that's why I'm asking you to stop being friends with me!" At this rate both of us are shouting.

"You don't mean that" I muttered

"I do...From now on, act like you don't know me." She said unsure.

"Why?"

"I already told yo-"

"Why do we have to end our friendship just because of him?" I was laughing like a maniac. I didn't know why. Maybe I just didn't want to accept this.

"I love him...I also love you but only as my best friend." She softly said

"I get that. But can't I stay friends with you?" I looked her in the eye.

"No you can't. Just...just deal with it" She interjected

Really?!

"Deal with it?! I've been with you since we were young! I was there for you when you needed me. I was basically with you half of your life, and now you're telling me to act like I don't know you? You're a big part of me. I can't just forget you" I desperately cried

"You weren't. You left remember? I was pursuing my dreams and you weren't by my side. We planned this together!" She replied

"Now tell me...All those times when we were taking care of each other. Tell me you didn't want me." I challenged. Guess I'm gonna be losing.

"I didn't want you (Y/n) I only saw you as my Best Friend that's all" I'm just making a fool of myself. Of course no one would want me.

"That's not true"

"Just leave (Y/n) I already told you what I wanted to say." She rubbed her temples clearly stressed of what was happening.

"You're making a big mistake. You need me. More than him. I know it" Actually, I really don't.

"Get out!"

"I will...but if you finally realize that you need me more than him. You can't expect me to still be there." With that I walked away.

I was a crying mess and I know exactly where I should go. Happy Birthday to me.
