Chapter 27: Ending or Chance?

Jennie's POV

Finally he agreed to meet me. I was getting ready when my phone rang.

"Yeoboseyo?"

"Hey jen? Can we talk?"

"I have to meet someone right now but we can meet later oppa?"

"Alright, text me when you get home then i'll drop by"

"I'll leave the gate open. I'm going to hang up no-"

"Wait!...Jen always remember that I love you."

"I...see you later."

I ended the call amd just in time, Jisoo unnie entered my room.

"Where are you going?" She asked

"(Y/n) agreed to meet me today." I replied while she took a seat on the end of my bed.

"Oh...what are you going to say to him?"

"I...don't know" Honestly? I haven't thought of that yet.

"So you asked him to meet you so you can talk but you don't know what to say? Real smart Jendeuk" Is she mocking me?

"I miss him alright? Honestly, I don't know how I actually considered removing (Y/n) from my life."

"Well you kinda did it so it's not a consideration. But talk it out alright?. I really can't stand the sound of your fingernails tapping at your phone at night"

Does she have super hearing or someth-

"No i don't but you always groan everytime you're deleting what you just typed. So I'm guessing that you're thinking about what to say to him."

"It's not like-"

"I wish you luck! I'll be out of your hair now." And with that she left!

Time to head out...I guess?

3rd Person's POV

While miss kim was preparing herself, the young male was practically thinking of scenarios that might happen on their so called coffee date.

Should he forget her for good? Or wait for her like he's been doing for a very long time. Nevertheless, He went to their designated spot.

After a few minutes, he arrived there. Although, there were no signs of a petite woman covered in gucci.

"I guess she's a bit late huh?"

Sipping his cappuccino, a young woman entered the café. And everything about her screams Jennie Kim.

"I'm sorry...I got held up with traffic." He offered her a seat. Which she gladly took.

"It's fine, I just arrived." He replied, walking back to his chair.

The atmosphere was tense. No one dared to speak until one of them broke it.

"So...why did you call me out here?"

"Oh...that. Umm" She fiddled with her fingers.

Clearly nervous and regretting that she really didn't have anything planned in mind. She just wanted....to see him.

"Jennie?" She snapped out of her trance

"I...just wanted to say I'm sorry. About the...you know, that incident?" A small voice manages to come out of her mouth. Refusing to meet his gaze.

"I told you...It's fine. Give me time to heal and recover from that."

"When is that? The last time we have spoken to each other was weeks ago! I know what I did was very wrong (Y/n). But I do regret it." She finally looked up, meeting his soft but stern gaze towards her.
