After another round of dancing passionately in the sheets I remembered that I promised Ambrose I'd meet him back by the tree.
"Winn. We gotta go." I said.
"Alright, I'll get dressed." He said. I smiled and he placed a kiss on my forehead. We got dressed and went downstairs as Lydia came in.
"Baby. Hush... sorry. Are we still on for this evening?" She asked.
"Right the deal we had. Tell you what, we are meeting a friend that came in yesterday but we will be back before you know it." I said.
"Ok be vigilant and stay safe." She said.
"She is so different." I said and Winn shook his head.
"I honestly think something is up." He said.
"Oh yeah." I said, we walked the the river and rented a boat and picked Ambrose up and went across the river.
"So you are Nala. And who s he?" Ambrose asked.
"This is Winn. My fiancé." I said as Winn waved.
"It's a pleasure to meet you." He said.
"Likewise." Winn said.
"So Ambrose, did your mom have something like super strength or any sort of superhero ability?" I asked.
"Not that I know of. She was gone for most of the day, sometimes nights as well but like I said. Not that I know of." He said.
"I see." Winn said.
"Do you mind if we do some test, like science work on you?" I asked.
"No please do. I would love to know what's going on inside of me." Ambrose said. "Also, my Dad has invited you to dinner."
"Me?" I asked surprisingly.
"Yeah, but it's nothing good, I can tell you that." He said.
"I'll come just incase." Winn said.
"Sure. I hope my Dad won't be drunk." Ambrose said sadly.
An hour later...
We went back and we told Lydia the news.
"Ah it's ok. We are very charitable people and especially if you met the lad and can help him with his problems thar definitely earned a dinner." She said.
"Yeah." I said, Winn had on a light blue polo shirt and some dress pants. "Look at you, being such a stud."
"Thank you." He said placing a kiss on my forehead.
"Aww... Bab-you guys are adorable." Lydia said.
"Well I'm going to go change and I'll be back." I said as I went upstairs. I closed the door and grabbed my dress. I heard a knock on the door, I opened it. It was Lydia.
"Can I come in?" She asked. I let her in and I shimmed on my dress as she zipped it up for me. "I know what you are thinking."
"Huh?" I asked.
"I'm not crazy or anything. My mom likes to call it my third eye but it's more like a sense." She continued.
