A/N: Sorry, I just realized that the wrong chapter was published. I mean to publish welcome back before this one. Sorry for any confusion.
Nala's Perspective...
Jude moved his launch party two weeks back, which is this week. Everything has been relatively quiet after the whole Joker comes to National City attack. Not saying that everything has been on hold but everything was on hold including my earth day and Jude's birthday. Kara still gave Eliza a dinner party but due to the nature of things that happened earlier that day. It was just Kara, Alex, Winn, Kelly and Myself. It was nice but it was quiet, Alex did kind of give me a look, it was a this constant are you ok look. I never really bothered to ask what was on her mind but it looked like she wanted to talk to me about something. I never got to speak to Mom about what she wanted to talk to me about. But none of the less it is a new day, and I am back at the office.
"So how do we feel about a machine that helps maintain the pH levels of the water in National City." A rep from the marine science team asked.
"Mhm not bad, but would it maintain the rivers, and beaches only or the shower and sink water as well. Would this be two separate things or one big machine?" I asked as I fiddled with my pen.
"It would be multiple machines." He said.
"I like the idea, but I hate the concept. The idea is there to help the sea life and our lives but however, how would we be powering this machine?" I said.
"Solar energy." He then said.
"Mhm, that sounds beautiful. But I am having a hard time visualizing it. Maybe a sketch?" I asked.
"On it." He said.
"Ok chemistry, what's the status of the genesis project?" I asked.
"Well for starters welcome back," She said and I nodded, "and we are missing a reagent. It won't work properly. We used aluminum, we've tried silver, and nothing."
"Try mercury." I said and she wrote it down.
"On it." She said.
"Zoology?" I asked.
"Um, we got the white tigers at National City Zoo to mate and Jane is pregnant and carrying twins." He said and we all clapped.
"Amazing. I am glad the methods worked." I said.
"Yeah." He said.
"Anyone else I am missing?" I asked Eillot.
"Nope, everyone has been rockstars since you have been gone." He said.
"Alright, good work everyone." I said as everyone left. I then sighed.
"What happened?" He asked.
"Nothing I have just been kind of tired, a little nauseous. I also choose comfy over business since none of my slack were fitting, that's the reason for last minute email, and instead of just casual Fridays, comfy Thursdays." I said as he stood there and calculated something in his mind.
"I am sorry, so you are experiencing tiredness, nausea, and I'm assuming bloating. Really, aren't you Kryptonian's invincible." He asked as I hushed him.
"No one else knows. I am kind of hurt you didn't come to my wedding though." I said.
"I moved." He said.
"I figured when Kara said one invitation wasn't returned." I said.
"But not the point. Have you seen Brainy?" He asked.
"Have you seen Brainy. Yes, that was two weeks ago, for three different blood test. He hasn't said anything so I am going to assume it's nothing." I said.
