Like Master, Like Padawan

chapter 1: mission impossible

"FULL BACK, FULL BACK, THAT'S AN ORDER" screamed general Skywalker. Days like this were pretty much normal for Ahsoka. She would wake up, have her slimy breakfast, fight a war, come home and go back to bed. She didn't mind it even if it was very basic, because she got to do it with her master, Anakin Skywalker. She found herself getting off focus, and lunged her sabers into a battle droids chest area. She retreated with her master and their troops leading the droid army to fall right into their trap. She ran as quick as she could over top of the bridge jumping over fallen pillars and droid parts. When she reached the end of the bridge she hopped over to the left side of the bridge. Almost the entire army was on the bridge following them, desperate to win the battle. Ahsoka took out one of her light sabers and stuck it through the bridge and ran across the floor to her master. The bridge fell into the water, bringing over 2000 droids and a few separatist commanders with it.

"Nice plan snips" commented Anakin with a smile on his face.

"I learned from the best Skyguy" said Ahsoka back playfully. Ahsoka and Anakin were best of friends, but also master and apprentice. They walked back to their transport and we're congratulated by many clone troopers.

"Good job kid, your plan was flawless" Rex said to Ahsoka.

Once they arrived back to the main ship, they tried to rest and regain their strength after the long battle. Right after Ahsoka and Anakin sat on the sofa Rex came in and told them the news.

"we were receiving a transmission from Master yoda and he wanted to speak with you two". Anakin sighed and Ahsoka got up.

"well? Are you coming?" Ahsoka asked.

"I'm going to sit this one out for now, I'll be there in a minite" he said to Ahsoka who rolled her eyes and walked towards the main bridge of the ship. Once she was there she saw a little green man hunched over and turned to see her.

"Hello Master Yoda" she said respectfully as she bowed.

"Young Ahsoka Tano, great news, I have for you. After hearing Master Skywalker talking about how much you have grown and matured, decided your ready for a mission alone, the council has." Ahsoka's eyes lit up with excitment. She could only imagine what kind of awesome job they had for her, like leading the next battle, spying on the separatists, it was an endless list of cool jobs she could have really.

"So what's my assignment master, I'm ready for anything" Ahsoka stated, very proud of herself.

Threats on senator Bonteri's life, there has been. To senator Amidala as well. While your master is protecting Senator Amidala, protecting senator Honteri, your assignment is." finished the master jedi. Ahsoka's bright smile, turned into a big frown in disappointment. She couldn't stand Lux Bonteri, now she had to protect his life "if anyone was gonna kill him it's me" she thought.

"Please tell master Skywalker, what I have told you, Ahsoka Tano fair well." She had nightmares of something like this happening before, so she slapped herself to make sure it was real. "Yup it was real, real painful" she thought out loud.

"I'm here, I'm here *sigh* what did I miss... Master Yoda?" Ahsoka was still upset but she told Anakin exactly what Yoda told her. She noticed all of his tiredness brushed away when he heard who he was watching over.

"well we best not keep Pad- Senator Amidala waiting. Oh and Mr. Bonteri." he said with excitement in his voice. Something fishy was going on between them, and Ahsoka was going to find out what.
