School was getting close to ending. The weather was nice, and I honestly have had so much fun at this new school. It's weird to think about the fact that I was going to graduate. I took advantage of the activities, did my best in class, and spent as much time as I could with the friends I made this year.

I was walking into the hallway after class, when I hear two people screaming. I looked up to see Camila and a girl named Jayanii arguing. I walked over to see what was going on.

"Can you just leave me alone." Camila pleaded.

"No. You're a fucking slut." responded Jayanii in her face.

"What did I even do to you?" Asked Camila.  At this point Jayanii was walking towards Camila's face.

Jayanii was one of Jordan's friends, so we knew each other by association. From what I know, they aren't very close. They basically only hang out during class. I walked over to them , and stepped in bewtween Camila and Jayanii, as Jayanii was about to connect her fist against Camila's chin.

"What the fuck. Grow up and take your shit somewhere else." I yelled into Jayanii's face. She began to laugh in my face.

"You're going to defend this piece of shit? Bet." She said, walking away. I turned around to look at Camila, who was on the verge of tears.

"What was that about?" I said, hugging Camila.

"I don't know. I didn't do anything to her." she responded, not looking up at all.

"Thank you." she mumbled to me, quickly walking into the bathroom.

Ungrateful as hell, I thought, walking away. I ended up walking home with Shawn, Bryan, and Alexandro. I got home about half an hour later, after stopping at the corner store with them.

As I was doing my work, Jordan and Jasaiah barged into my room, yelling.

"Have the both of you never fucking heard of knocking." I said, laughing. They didn't even acknowledge my statement. Instead, they continued arguing.

"Bro, it's not that deep." said Jaya

"Not that deep? Are you shitting me right now. I worked my ass off for you, and you repay me by not being there? Fuck you." responded Jordan, now visibly angry.

"Um, if you two are going to stand in my room and yell, at least tell me why." I said, annoyed. I had honestly never seen them argue, so a part of me knew this was serious.

"Nah, he just mad because Miguel was talking shit about him and apparently I should've had his back, when he confronted him." Said Jaya, rolling his eyes.

"Well you should've." Responded Jordan.

"My little brother was there. I'm not getting into a fight for your dumbass."Jaya replied quickly.

"Dumbass? I know you not the one talking when you needed my 'dumbass' for that damn college recruitment."

"Oh nah. Could've done it without your needy ass."

"That's cap." I said, now annoyed at Jaya that he was acting so entitled.

"Okay, so who's right?" he responded, rolling his eyes.

"Both of you sound dumb. You guys are both wrong. Jaya, you should've said something if you knew Miguel was talking shit. Jordan, you also need to understand that he was with his little brother. He can't go around picking fights, that would be a shitty example as an older brother. Now, as a friend, Jaya you are being shitty. You should have at least told him, or defended him if you weren't trying to get physical." I said, rolling my eyes back at him.

They both stared at me. Then Anthony decided to walk in, falling after tripping on my desk. That cause the three of us to laugh at him while Anthony got up. He rolled his eyes, asking for all of us to shut up, and walked out.

"You see, even Anthony knows how fucking stupid you two sound." I said, giggling.

They both sat down, as I forced the both of them to apologize to each other. Jaya left first, saying he had to take care of something. Jordan and I sat in my room, talking while doing school work.

"Why the hell is everyone arguing today?"I asked jokingly.

"What do you mean?"

"Well Camila and Jayanii were having titty attacks in the hallway today, so that was fun. Then, you and Jaya walked in like if you guys live here, screaming."

"My fault." he laughed. "I don't know. I try to keep shit to myself, but he's been really distant lately, and he's been acting very entitled when it comes to our friendship. This is the same boy who used to come to me, crying about having to take care of his siblings. Don't get me wrong, siblings are annoying as hell, but I dropped everything for him. Now we're graduating, and he's acting like he has never needed me. It lowkey hurts."

"I-I'm sorry." I responded, feeling guilty.

"Why would you feel sorry, it isn't even your fault. I'm just happy if that idiot is happy."  he smiled at me while saying this.

"So, has he asked you to prom." he asked.

"I completely forgot that was a thing. When is it?" I replied.

"Um next Friday."

"Well, he hasn't. Are you planning on going with anyone?" I asked.

"Well, I kind of just want to go with friends. So I can have fun with everyone."

"Smart."

"Hey Aya?" he said

"Yeah?"

"Promise me we will be friends in college. I don't want to be alone."

"Of course Jordan. You are like my brother. I love you man." He smiled.

"Love you too, rat ass bitch." I got up and chased him around the room. I always knew that Jordan would last. I always felt protected with him. He was family. He was always here, and my mom loved him. I never thought about the fact that he would be lonely after graduating. He didn't have siblings, and his parents worked a lot, so I knew he always put his friends first. It was his biggest vulnerability. I found myself feeling guilty for not realizing this sooner. I knew I would always have my brother. We moved so much that Anthony has always been my best friend. Jordan didn't have that. He was such an amazing friend.

After joking around, we finished work and he went home. I got up and began to cook diner, knowing that my mom would be home soon. We all ate, and I got ready to go bed.
