The next day, Jaya met me outside of my locker. It was before lunch, so we had plenty of time to talk.

"Hey love." He said.

"Hey baby."

"Could you do me a massive favor?" He said, making a puppy face.

"Ugh what do you want?" I said, giving in.

"Okay so I have a fake game today. It's just going to be me and some of the boys on our team. I'm technically supposed to babysit. I convinced my mom that if I could get you to babysit, than I could go. So... do you want to meet my siblings?" he asked, with a smirk.

"Sure. Am I still going to be there until your mom comes home?"

"Yeah, she worked late yesterday so she gets to come early today. I'll still be playing though."

"Oh okay." And with that, we went to lunch.

I walked into his house. There was Aidan, the oldest out of the little kids, only 9 years old. Then, there was Joseph, 7 years old, and Kendrick, only 4 years old. They all looked up at me, with curious eyes. Then, Kendrick ran up to me and gave me a hug.

"Hiiiiiii." He said

"Hey baby." I responded. They were literally adorable. The rest came over excited to meet me. I let them play with their toys while I made them a snack. 20 minutes later, they ate their snacks and I helped each of them with their work. I started with the easiest, which was Kendrick's work. He giggled and smiled every time he was confused, making it hard to be strict. It was mostly teaching him the ABC's, since he was only in Pre-K. Then, I helped Joseph, who was much more quiet and shy. He seemed to listen more than the rest, so we were done quickly. I lastly helped Aidan, who wouldn't stop talking about his friends, his teacher, and sports. He reminded a lot of Jaya, which made me smile every time he talked. By the time we were all done, it was 5:30. Aidan showered, then, Joseph. I then helped Kendrick shower, but he seemed peaceful as long as he had a toy. I decided to be nice and make dinner for the whole family. Around 6:30, Jaya's mom arrived. It was the first time being alone with her, but she was very easy to talk to and was incredibly sweet. By the time I left, my work was done, and Lisa, which was Jaya's mother, couldn't stop thanking me. I left around 8:30, since she insisted on me eating with them. I still hadn't heard from Jaya, but I didn't care since I knew where he was. His games were usually late into the night, so without stopping I went home.

I walked into my kitchen to see Jaya talking to my mom. I was caught by surprise since he said he would be playing. He walked over, smiling. We headed upstairs into my room, and began to talk.

"Um, aren't you playing tonight."

"Yea, it was quick. I wanted to talk to you after, but alone."

"Okay."

"Well, first I obviously want to say thank you for taking care of my siblings."

"Of course. They are literally adorable." This made him smile. He prided himself on taking care of them. They were basically his children, so I knew this was a big deal for him.

"Well, I wanted to know if you wanted to go to prom with me?" He said, smiling even more.

"Of course." I said blushing

"Are we matching?" I asked

"Of course we are. We are going to wear red. I want to claim what is mines." He said, smoothly.

He looked at me in the eyes for a few moments, and I held his gaze. Then, he kissed me. We began to make out, until we had to catch our breathe. He smiled.

"Let's go shopping tomorrow, okay?" he asked, his voice quiet.

"Bet." I said. He said goodbye to everyone. He left at around 9:15, so I decided to tex Jordan.

I texted everyone else immediately after that. We all planed to go after school. Prom was on Friday, and tomorrow was Thursday. We only had one day. We decided that since Jaya and I were the only couple, we would pop off. Everyone else would still look good, but the red on their outfits wouldn't be as obvious.

Shopping went surprisingly well for such a last minute call. All the boys purchased black blazers, a simple white button up, and black jeans. Aaliyah found a nice tight fitting dress that flowed outwards at the bottom, with a red rose coming up on the side. Jaya bought a normal black suit, with a red button up to wear under. I bought a red long sleeve dress that began tight fitting at the top, but began to flow like flames at the bottom. We all decided to meet at Aaliyah's house, since it was closest to the school. We pulled up in Shawn's car, which was the nicest in our friend group. It was also the smallest. Bryan laughed as he sat on top of Aaliyah, almost suffocating her. It only had 5 seats, so Jordan sat in the back, Alexandro sat in the front, Shawn drove, I sat on Jaya's lap, and Bryan sat on Aaliyah. We took photos, and went in.
