The Final Turn

Chapter: 11

Yeonjun bolts his head to Hansoo. "No Hansoo. We have a job here. Besides, we still don't know their true intentions." He warns her. "I mean, we can totally get a new job there." Hansoo raises her eyebrows.

"Are you hearing yourself? We are their only hope here! If we leave then what will happen to them?" Yeonjun snaps as they all flinch at the height of his voice.

The tension in the air was real. "I-I mean..." Hansoo trailed her words with air while she bites her lips, thinking for an acceptable excuse.

"Look, you both can come with Kook and i can take your job if you want." Hwasa smiles, hoping for Yeonjun to calm down.

"You'd do that?" Hansoo looks at her in shock. "Yes of course! I love protecting people" Hwasa nods her head. "Thank you so much!" Hansoo delivers her a hug which made Jungkook release a light smile.

"Uhh?" He slowly looks at Yeonjun who looks defeated. "What?" He drifts his eyes to face Jungkook, still keeping his face away.

"What's you're final decision?" Jungkook added which made Yeonjun scoff. "Ask her" He points his lips to Hansoo who was patiently waiting for an answer.

"I-I mean if you ask me, i would come. Imagine on how much easier it will be for us" Hansoo smiles, picturing their new life.

Well....she does has a point. Yeonjun thought.

"But we still don't know on how dangerous this Jungkook guy is." He says to the guy beside him. "C'mon, we've slept at his place, won a battle with him, and he's also a good guy, trust me. I don't think he would do such a thing." Hansoo convinced him which made Jungkook release a cute smile and blush as he covers his face.

Yeonjun went silent for a few moments.

"Fine. But if he does something, don't come to me crying." Yeonjun gave up which made the 3 celebrate by exchanging high-fives.

"Thank you so much! That's why i love you so much!" Hansoo runs to Yeonjun and hugged him tight due to excitement. The rest of teens shut their mouth in shock.

Yeonjun's eyes was big as the moon above them, Jungkook's body froze as Hwasa's hand was over her mouth.

Hansoo noticed it and added "A-As a best friend of course."

"I love you too." Yeonjun hugged her back which shocked her. "Did you just-?" Hansoo's words was cut by her emotions.

She finally saw him smile.

"Holy shit....you're actually smiling!" She let out a high squeal as the tip of her lips stretched up to her ears. "Well it was damn hard keeping it in, you know?" Yeonjun rubbed his neck while smiling awkwardly.

"YEONJUN'S BACKKKKK!!!!!!!" Hansoo jumped around in happiness which made them all laugh on her sudden release of emotions.

"I was never gone in the first place. I was trying to see on how long i can ignore you. Turns out, not that long, you're irresistible." Yeonjun squeezed her cheeks which turned bright red instantly. "Only if you knew on how hard it was, you'd feel bad for me."

"This is to fucking adorable" Hwasa wipes her tears.

"You're crying?" Jungkook laughs at her. "Yes and is there a problem with it?" Hwasa frowned as Jungkook shook his head rapidly. "That's what i thought." She added.

"Hey dude i'm sorry" Yeonjun faces Jungkook and places his hand on his shoulders. Jungkook looks at him.

"Nah we all good, don't worry. Let's just forget everything that happened for the past 24 hours." Jungkook chuckles as Hansoo smiles. The boys are finally allies thank goodness.

"So for the job? When are we going to take care of that?" Hwasa asks. "Tomorrow morning" Hansoo answers.

Tomorrow

"Thanks bud" Hwasa pats Yeonjun's shoulder. "I should actually be the one thanking you. Thank you for taking our job." He replies and smiles.

"Who thought that you'll be thanking someone for taking your job?" Jungkook jokes and chuckles.

"Without context, it is weird." Hansoo added.

"So...goodluck for your journey." Hwasa sends them a flying kiss as they all accept it whole.

"Goodluck on your new job!" Hansoo hugs her for probably the last time for a long time. "Goodluck" Jungkook fist bumps Hwasa as they smile and walk out of the place.

"Tell me why that made me emotional" Hansoo fans her eyes while laughing.

"Now, where's our car?" Yeonjun asks and puts his hands in his pockets. "Well....I still need to kinda um....repair it?" Jungkook chuckles awkwardly.

"No worries man, take your time." Yeonjun smiles as they reach his unit.
