(3rd person)

"That was so much fun!" A  girl exclaimed as she waved goodbye to her group of friends. "See you next time alright?"

"Call me." A boy winked as the girl's cheeks heated.

"Oooohhh" The crowd teased as they started giggling and laughing. "For fucks sake. How many times do I have to say this? We're just friends, and friends only."

"Damn we're just kidding." One amongst the crowd of friends told her.

"As I told you all, I gotta go, thanks for the treat!" The girl blows a kiss to the squad and walked away.

"I can drive you home" A very familiar voice stopped her.

"What the hell" The girl cussed as she held her chest with her heartbeat increasing rapidly.

She sighed out of relief as she realized its just one of her 'friends'

"Not now Yeonjun... you know that we're gonna get involved in another scandal if they caught us talking. Also didn't you tell me that you hated being teased?"

"What? They can't see us anyway." The boy looks back at their previous location with distant laughter echoing. "I mean...-"

"Just agree Hansoo, its also very dangerous for girls like you to walk home these days." Yeonjun looked at her with concern shining through his beautiful, sparkly, brown eyes. Almost like a puppy in human form.

I mean who could say no to that?  She thought to herself.

"You know what? Fine." Hansoo sighed in defeat, followed by grins from Yeonjun. "You'll give in anyways why did you make it so hard for me?" Yeonjun pouted.

"Shut up. All that matters is i gave you a chance." Hansoo playfully pushed him away.

"Thanks for the ride" Hansoo smiled at Yeonjun. "Look, you enjoyed it! Told you, you would." He winked at her and squeezed her oddly cute chubby cheeks.

"Ow! What was that for?" Hansoo let out a squeal as she held her now red cheeks. "Oops sorry." Yeonjun smiled cutely.

"Ugh, I'll go now then." She steps out of the car and cracked a smile.

"Bye Hansoo stay safe!" Yeonjun rolled down his windows and finally drove away.

"Such a cutie douche bag" Hansoo giggles to herself as she got her keys and slowly opened her front door.

"Mom? Mom I'm home!" She called out as she removed her shoes and hung her coat. "Sheez its cold in here." Hansoo shivered as she held her arms for warmth. 

"Mom?" Hansoo slowly walked into her mysteriously dark hallway. "Mom? Mom!" She called her out again but louder.

Her hands traveled through their cold walls as she finally found the light switch. She flicked it as the light bulbs flickered and lit up.

"Mom?" Her voice trembled in fear. It was so quiet and eerie to the point that she can hear her heartbeat increase. The air she breathes in felt so heavy. Her mind predicted unpleasant scenes that made her legs tremble in fear.

"Mom this isn't funny" She walked closer to the kitchen on where her mother usually is, as tears fought to drop down from her eyes. But no surprise, she isn't there.

Suddenly confetti popped out of nowhere.

"Shit!" Hansoo jumped in surprise.

"Mom! You popped the confetti too early! I was supposed to open the lights first!" Her brother, Hoseok sighed. "I'm sorry I got too excited.." Her mom scratches her neck and smiles awkwardly.
