Chapter Nine

“Tiffany stop,” states Jessica as she tries to push the younger girl who was straddling her off. Tiffany shakes her head no before nuzzling Jessica’s neck and resuming placing kisses along it. “Tiffany!” growls Jessica as she places both her hands on Tiffany’s shoulders and applying pressure upwards. Tiffany continues to ignore Jessica, “Stephanie stop!” shouts Jessica.

Within seconds Jessica’s bedroom door opens revealing Krystal, “What are you two doing?”

Tiffany pops up and turns to look at Krystal, “I was tickling Jessi…but she doesn’t seem to like it.” Jessica could only roll her eyes at the younger girl’s obvious lie. Who has their head buried in someone’s neck while tickling them?

“Oh, just keep it down. I’m studying,” Krystal turns around and leaves causing for Jessica to groan. Since when did Krystal fall for so obvious lies? Tiffany turns back to Jessica with a grin, which quickly disappears as she falls to the ground.

“Jessi!” whines Tiffany.

“I said stop,” states Jessica as she stands up and heads to the mirror looking at her neck, “we’re sisters, Tiff.” Tiffany could only groan before storming out the room.

“Taeyeon are you paying attention?” Taeyeon could only nod her head at her boring private tutor. It’s been two days since she’s been to work, and she was bored. She missed her job. Before she disliked it with a passion, standing there and scooping ice cream all day and now she wants to return. “Taeyeon…this information is important.”

“Important enough to get Jessica to like me?” asks Taeyeon only to receive an eraser to her head. She looks across the table to see Hyoyeon shaking her head in disbelief.

“Maybe if Jessica was your tutor you’d pay attention?” asks the tutor annoyed.

“Yeah, she’d pay attention alright,” mutters Hyoyeon sarcastically. Taeyeon sticks her tongue out at her sister.

“I’m hungry. Go fetch me something to eat,” states Taeyeon while leaning back in her chair.

“Taeyeon. I’m a tutor-“

“Yeah, but who hands over the pay checks that gets you the nice convertible and stuff?”

“Alright…what would you like?”

“Jessica,” answers Taeyeon while grinning.

“I don’t know what a Jessica is,” responds the tutor.

“A Jessica is something beautiful. That the moment you see it you’d want to eat it all up. It’s pretty cold, but really sweet. And the best part is when it begins melting.”

“Yeah, but a Jessica is also bad for you with the constant head injuries,” states Hyoyeon only to receive a scoff.

“Are you saying that you want some ice cream?” asks the tutor causing for Taeyeon to lose her footing and fall backwards. “What? You said it’s cold, sweet and you like it when it’s melting. Plus it’s bad for you with head injuries. The only thing I can think of that is all of that is ice cream.”

“Yeah, go get some ice cream…” states Hyoyeon shooing the tutor.

“Hm…Jessica is like ice cream?” states Taeyeon as she stands up and fixes her chair, “Jessica and ice cream.” A grin creeps across Taeyeon’s face.

“What?” questions Hyoyeon.

“Those are my two most favorite things.”

Jessica walks into the video game shop and approaches the counter, “Sunny,” states Jessica not seeing the girl she was looking for.

“Yes?” comes Sunny’s voice from behind the counter. Jessica leans over to see Sunny on the floor looking through some video games.

“I need to talk to you,” states Jessica.

“Go on,” responds Sunny.

“I want to know why you never told me that you dated the midget, and I want to know why you broke up.”

“It wasn’t an important subject. And I don’t like to talk about it,” responds Sunny. “Why does it matter? It’s not like you’re interested in her. I mean you’re with Tiffany right? That’s what you told me.”

“I never said I was with Tiffany. I said things with Tiffany were complicated. And no I’m not interested in the midget. I’m just curious that’s all. But since you obviously have no information to give me…”

Jessica turns on her heels and prepares to leave when, “I asked her out.” Jessica stops and her tracks and turns around to look at Sunny, “It was a huge mistake on my behalf. I had the hugest crush on the idiot. She didn’t even know who I was at the time. And I was surprised when she agreed. But the idiot was an idiot. She couldn’t remember important things but when she did I’ll give her credit. She can be romantic. But I was always the end of her jokes and pranks. And then she humiliated me in front of the whole school one evening at the dance. And then the next day she broke up. And that is why I said don’t try and fall in love with the midget. Besides she has too many secrets and it’s so hard to deal with.”

“Thank you for that information,” responds Jessica as she heads out of the store, making her way to the ice cream stall.

“If you’re looking for Taeyeon she’s not here,” states Yoona while scooping a customer an ice cream cone.

“Who says I was looking for the midget?” retorts Jessica as she examines the ice cream flavors.

“If you weren’t then you wouldn’t be looking over in this direction every fifteen minutes,” responds Yoona.

*****

“Hmm…you know what would go good with this?” stats Taeyeon while scooping another spoon of ice cream.

“What?” asks the tutor. Hyoyeon could only groan waiting for her sister response.

“A break,” states Taeyeon while standing up, “let’s go to the mall.”

Tiffany enters the shoe shop and walks to the counter where Yuri was working. She was on her way to ask the younger girl out. Since Jessica obviously wants nothing more to do with her. She was going to move on then. “Yuri,” states Tiffany scaring the girl.

“H-huh?” asks Yuri.

“I was wondering if you’d like to go on a date?” asks Tiffany sounding sincere.

“I…um?” She looks all over the place besides Tiffany, “you’re not using me right?” asks Yuri. Tiffany shakes her head no. “Oh…okay.”

“Good!” chirps Tiffany as she leaves smiling.
