Chapter Twenty
Taeyeon opens the door allowing for Jessica to enter, “Finally you’re back with the snacks!” Yoona and Sooyoung bolt to the front door to gather the bags only to find none, “where’s the snacks? Did you guys even get snacks?” Taeyeon nods her head as she closes the umbrella. “Really? Then where are they?”
“In Jessica’s stomach,” answers Taeyeon jokingly even though it was the truth. “Jessica ate it all.” Jessica looks at Taeyeon before giving her a small shove and walking away. Taeyeon smiles happily to herself.
“Well go get som-“ The door flies open startling everyone. “Hyoyeon?”
“Group meeting now,” she states slamming the door and walking into the kitchen. Sooyoung and Yoona look at Taeyeon.
“The Kim has spoken,” states Taeyeon while walking off to the kitchen. Yoona turns to Sooyoung who shrugs her shoulders before walking off after Taeyeon. Yoona follows and Yuri pushes herself up to join the group in the kitchen. She takes a seat joining the rest of the group at the table.
“So what is this meeting about that Taeyeon is not calling?” asks Yuri while looking over at the older girl.
“I want to know what’s going on here?” states Hyoyeon.
“Well…I told Jessica I had a surprise for her, and she invited Yuri and Tiffany. Then I invited Sooyoung and Yoona who both invited their respective girl friends. But I never really had a surprise and planned on winging everything. And it worked. Then you showed up and we’re having a meeting,” jokes Taeyeon lightly in hopes of calming down her sister.
“Not funny, Tae. I’m being serious,” states Hyoyeon.
“I know I know…but you’re so tense. I think you need to start thinking about seriously dating. It will do you a lot of good,” responds Taeyeon. Hyoyeon shoots her a glare. “Okay fine…speak.”
“I believe that me, Sooyoung and Yoona deserve to know what exactly you two are up to,” states Hyoyeon.
“Me and mini Boss are up to nothing,” retorts Yuri while leaning to see if the girls in the living room were eavesdropping or not.
“Let them know Yuri,” states Taeyeon. The younger girl falls backwards as the chair slips out from beneath her, causing for an uproar in the kitchen. “You should have seen your face,” laughs Taeyeon while mimicking Yuri’s facial expression, “priceless!”
“Is everything okay?” rings Tiffany’s voice from the living room.
“Yeah except for the fact that Yuri will probably have a huge bump,” shouts Sooyoung. Yuri groans and stands up, picking up her chair. She returns to her seat while rubbing the back of her head. A pout forms on her face as the group picks up laughing again.
“It’s not funny,” grumbles Yuri while fixing her hair.
“It so was,” states Yoona while trying to cover her mouth, “like Taeyeon said your face was priceless.”
“Alright,” speaks Taeyeon halting all speaking, “that’s enough. We’re supposed to be holding a very important and top secret meeting.”
“Sure we are. If they can Yuri fall then they can hear the meeting,” states Sooyoung, “we really need one of thse offices your dad has.”
“This was our office until we brought them here,” remarks Hyoyeon.
“We’re getting off track,” comments Taeyeon as she stands and walks to one of the drawers containing some silverware. Pulling it open she pulls out the envelope and throws it at Hyoyeon. “Everything that me and Yuri has been doing is in that envelope.”
