Day eleven and I am finally getting used to Camelot's customs. Don't get me wrong it is still incredibly strange. Living in a land of magical beasts and rival kingdoms is something straight out of...well legend.

But thanks to my amazing new friends I am getting accustomed to life here.

I have only bumped into Arthur once and his expression deterred me from speaking. He has it in for me and I have no clue why. Maybe he blames me for his and Merlin's falling out. I mean it is partly my fault but he was being a prat if I am being completely honest.

As I am allowed out now I managed to convince Merlin to take me to the surrounding woods. Camelot doesn't really have the structure for swinging around. Even if it did I would terrify the locals. It is much better to do it out of sight.

"Merlin come on!" I drawled, hanging upside down from the ceiling whisky waiting for the clumsy warlock to emerge from his room.

"Give me a second." Comes the reply. Honestly what is he doing?

"Peter for the love of Camelot get of the ceiling. You are going to give me a heart attack." Gaius says from his work bench. I shoot him an innocent smile and flip over so my feet graze the ground but never truly touch.

"You are going to be the death of me, my boy" He says, giving my hair an affectionate ruffle to which I pout and pull away.

At that moment Merlin emerges wearing a deep purple neckerchief and a blue shirt. 'Hmm purple suits him.' I think to myself, biting back a blush.

Obviously I didn't do so very well as Merlin smirks and twirls round. "You like it?"

The best I could do was nod my head. Merlin chuckles and links arms with me, making me blush even more. My heart practically beats out of my chest as he starts to pull me out of the chambers and towards the courtyard.

We walk in a comfortable silence, the only noise being the clinking of boots on the stone flags and my heart which I swear Merlin can hear.

Eventually we reach the outskirts of the city and I take out my web shooters from my pocket. I click them on and flick my risk, praying there is still enough fluid left. Much to my delight a string of white shoots from my wrist and attached to a tree. With a cheer I swing from branch to branch, occasionally breaking the canopy and flipping joyfully in the air. Oh how I have missed this.

I turn back and circle the place I left Merlin. He watches me with wonder in his piercing blue eyes. A mischievous thought crosses my mind and in a heartbeat Merlin is webbed to a branch in front of me.

"Hey!" He cries in mock annoyance.

"Oops!" I snort flipping so I was hanging from the branch above.

The laughter stops as our eyes lock together. I never noticed the swirls of gold that stay in the ocean blue of his irises. It's beautiful. My stomach flutters uncontrollably and my breath hitches. Merlin seems to sense the change in atmosphere as he leans closer to me so our noses brush.

"You're blushing." He states with a smirk. It takes all my power not to fall from the tree.

In a moment of bravery (or stupidity, it's often hard to tell) I lean forwards so our lips brush. Since he doesn't react I pull back with a pout. Merlin chuckled lowly and tilts my head back.

"I like you." He hums as he captures my lips. I can't find the words to answer so I just deepen the kiss. If he notices the swirling whirlwind of leaves forming below he either doesn't care or is too caught up in the moment to do anything. When we pull back we are both gasping for breath and as red as tomatoes.

"I like you too."
