I am the first to store the next morning. I tilt my head and smile at the sight I am greeted with. Merlin sleeping peacefully, head resting on my shoulder with a small smile tugging at his lips. Every now and then his eyes flutter open, but instantly shut.
I spend a while gazing lovingly at him not wanting to risk moving and waking him. But alas my stupid self just had to sneeze, jolting Merlin awake.
"Morning." I whisper sheepishly. Merlin smiled groggily at me, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.
By the looks of the sun out of the newly shattered window it is at least midday. That's what you get for staying out till midnight.
"We should probably get up." I whisper, placing a soft kiss on Merlin's forehead.
"Don't wanna." He mumbled, burying his head into my shoulder. I roll my eyes fondly and sir up so that his head falls on to the pillow.
"Come on. I want to go back to the forest again." Merlin seems fully alert at the mention of the forest. He is up in a flash, pulling on his clothes. I do the same, only today I wear the spidersuit under my new attire. Karen is fully operational now and may come in handy tracking my web usage.
Before we leave the room I risk drawing Merlin in for a chaste kiss. Although as soon as our lips smash together it turns into something much more. A fight for dominance which I end up losing. His tongue swipes my teeth, exploring every inch of my mouth as I moan in delight. My stomach knots with pleasure as he grips my waist. In return I sling my arms around his neck and pull his closer, seeping the kiss.
A cough at the door alerted us to another's presence and we spring back from each other. I crash into the wardrobe whereas Merlin slips and falls to the floor.
Arthur is stood in the door, a mix of emotions painted on his usually expressionless face.
"Um...hi?" Merlin squeaks, turning a deeper shade of crimson.
"Meeting. Now." Arthur spits and storms away.
