Sara's Point of View

I stood between Levi and Mikasa as we gazed down the merchant we captured. The butterfly knife twirled effortlessly around my fingers, threatening to fall on his legs. The fear in his eyes were no joke.

It was thickly coated of fear when he saw me holding it.

"I know this man." Mikasa says.

I crouched in front of the man and pulled down his gag with the tip of my knife. It made him flinch when he felt it graze on his trembling lips.

"In the city, people were calling him boss."

"I know. Dimo Reeves, right?" Levi asks.

"Tsk, we were just following orders the Military Police forced on us. And we failed big time..." Dimo turns away and glared at nothing.

"Wasn't really the best course of action when Corporal Levi himself is who you're up against." I chuckle.

"Sara, stop scaring the old geezer." Levi sighs.

"They won't stop me and my dumb son. They'll make sure all my employees die in so-called accidents." Dimo says.

"Yeah, I bet that's what'll happen to my oldies too." I said. "So, you'll die without a fight?"

He looks at me curiously. I raised my knife and pointed at Levi behind me with it.

"Trost should have collapsed by now, but it's preserved." Levi said. "That's because the Reeves Company brings people to work together. If the company was gone for good, just how few would survive the winter?"

"He means you're not exactly an asshole." I whisper.

"Are you suggesting I team up with you, then?" He asks.

Levi kneels on one kneed beside me to get to Dimo's eye level. "We just need to know where Eren and Historia are. If you're supplying the Military Police, we can figure something out."

"But, can you stop my city and employees from dying of starvation?"

"Can't guarantee it, but I assure you that we're headed towards that way." Levi replies back instantly.

I flicked my knife around my hand until it folds closed. "So, do we have a deal?"

"Fine,"

"Great!"

We moved to the agreed location for Dimo to take the Military Police and waited. I pulled my hood up over my head to conceal my identity and prepared my rifle.

"Did I mention I shot two people with their own weapons earlier?" I mumbled beside the short corporal.

"How many were you able to kill?"

"I think fourteen. Two of them were shot." I said. "The guns only have two shots per canister. It was exactly made to kill a person, not titans."

I heard the galloping of horses and wheels rolling, so I shut my mouth and watched the wagon get near. It slowed to a stop a little ahead of us, so I prepared to shoot if things go south.

One of the Military Police came out of the wagon, but had a gun barrel pointed to him by Jean. "Reeves, you—"

Jean knocked him out with the butt of his gun. "Alright, let's move them over." I ordered the cadets to take the soldiers inside the cottage. Levi will show them the underground dungeon we have in store for the torture.

I stayed outside and bid Dimo Reeves and his son farewell as they galloped away from our hideout. Without another thing left to do, I turned to walk inside the cottage.
