"So I was thinking,"

"Your ideas are either tickets to salvation or a shot down to the pit of burning hell. There's no in between." Levi looks at Sara with a deadpanned expression as he wiped one of his blades clean after they finished cleaning up in Rod Reiss' land.

Sara unconsciously pouted as she glared back at the slightly shorter male. "I really hate you sometimes, you know?"

"I'm aware." Levi nodded back. "And since I'm the only one who can tolerate your ass, I'll listen."

"Great! So," Sara walked up to him and pointed at the tips of his hair. "Grow it out."

"Excuse me?"

"Grow it out, your hair. I mean, that's the only thing that you can grow at this point in your life—ow!"

Levi's palm laid flatly on top of her head, daring her to continue with her thought. Sara only looked away while hiding a smirk. "Anyway," she clears her throat. "Grow it out, but maintain the undercut. Then, when it's long enough, tie it in a man bun."

"The hell am I doing that for?"

"It suits you!"

"And how the hell do you know for certain?"

"I envisioned it before talking to you." Sara grinned. "Promise, it'll look great. Just try it."

"You envisioned it?" Levi cocks an eyebrow at her.

"If you want a simpler term, it means imagine."

"I know what envision means, airhead."

"Then—"

"But why were you thinking about me?"

Silence fell upon the two. Sara could only stare back with a blank stare as Levi's eyes pierced through her own. He didn't let her lose eye contact and kept her on her place until she answers him.

"Is it wrong to think about my friend?" She sighs, shoulders slumping.

"Not really, I guess." He shrugged. "What else do you think of when it comes to me?"

And that's when Sara completely froze. Her mind went blank, as empty as the pit of darkness as she now tried to glance away from him. However, Levi's hand that was once on top of her head came down to take her chin. He gently turns her head back to look at him, his face leaning closer to her own.

"Well?"

Her nerves began to surge through her system. She can hear her own heart pounding loudly from her ears. It would be no surprise if Levi were to hear it from his position. Her heart was being awfully loud, and it only added up to her nervousness.

"I—uh—um..."

At the loss of her voice, Levi could only chuckle under his breath. Quite raspy and low, only the two of them could actually hear his voice. "Ah, what am I gonna do with you?" Levi sighed. "Get cleaned up. We're watching the stars tonight."

He carefully lets go of her chin, the fuzzy feeling taking over him just the same as it took over Sara. While she stood frozen on her spot with eyes wide, Levi turned to the way to the headquarters and began walking away from her.

A small smirk tugs on his lips.

"So, this is what it feels like."
