Sara's Point of View

It's a few days before the Scouts begin holding expeditions beyond Wall Maria again. It has been so long since we last scaled that part of the world. The thought of it was really exciting me.

I will be able to go out again, free from the confinement of the walls that was suffocating me. Erica and Hans found it a good idea for us to handle buying the needed supplies back in headquarters, so they requested for Hanji to send them and me to go to town and run the errands.

Their excuse was that I don't have any paperwork to handle anymore, which is technically true. I'm only a Co-Captain now. When Hanji told me about it, she said that she wants to trust Erwin's decision in lessening the burden on my shoulders for me to focus more on my duty as Humanity's Strongest. I didn't know that was a full-time job.

As far as I was aware, Levi's still doing tons of paperwork. His eyebags were growing darker these days, so I would frequently help him out when I see that he's close to dozing off. He is an insomniac, so it gets quite hard to rest.

I would force him back to sleep whenever I notice that he's only running with black tea. That was stubborn on his part. He should take care of himself more often.

"Captain, what's next?" Erica shouldered the clean cloth she uses to put our purchases in, holding it on her shoulders with both hands. Hans was lifting an identical one, but his was bigger than Erica's.

I looked down at the list Hanji gave us and sighed. "3 bottles of pen ink."

"The shop's nearby! Lucky." Hans sighs.

"It was you two who wanted to do this." I deadpan.

"But, I didn't expect us all to buy this much!"

"Admit it, Meigh. You wanted to skip training."

The siblings only turned away from each other, making me chuckle and shake my head. I patted their shoulders as I walked past them and motioned for them to follow me. I tucked the list back inside my pocket, my regiment's cloak hiding my hands from the public.

Just as I was about to get back on thinking about the expedition set in a few days, I bumped into something hard. Hold on.

It was someone.

My eyes quickly looked up in panic. I didn't even notice that someone was in front of me. "I'm so sorry." I said. "I wasn't looking where I was going."

My ears picked up Erica and Hans stopping behind me as I gazed up at the rather tall male. He was blonde, eyes a vibrant blue that reminded me of the sky. With the way he was dressed, I see that he came from a noble house. He must be someone living within Wall Sina if he were to have luxurious clothes like that.

I should know, I have worn the same type of material when I was a child.

"It is alright." He says.

His lips curled into a soft smile. When I looked closely at his eyes, it looked like he knew what my response would be. It made me feel uneasy.

My guts were acting up again.

"Sara Wisteria, isn't that right?" He came with a follow-up question.

Great.

As many may have already guessed, I'm not the best person to continue a conversation. Maybe to selected people only, but that's it.

"Uh, yeah." I nodded with an awkward smile. "How do you know?"

"Everyone knows Humanity's Strongest Female Soldier." He praised. "Many are thanking you for all you've done to humanity."
