Sara's Point of View

I tied the Interior Police member around the tree trunk he was just beaten up on and made sure to keep it tight. "Say a word and I won't hesitate to drive this through your skull." I whispered, lifting the butterfly knife at his face. His expression was enough for me to know that he will oblige to my order.

I moved behind a tree and pulled out my blades, waiting for a moment to attack.

As the two hooded figures holding guns neared, my grip on my blade loosened. They pulled their hoods down to reveal Moblit and Hanji. The Section Commander herself began smiling at us and handed a news article to Levi. We all gathered around him to read the information they brought us.

"The coup d'état was successful. Premier Zachary has control of the capital and administrative district. For the time being, the nobility hasn't rebelled."

"But, the Boss Reeves Incident?"

"We got a confession that proved the charges unfounded. His son, Flegel, pulled through this time." She said. "It shows the charges were bogus, they abused their power, and that King Fritz is a fake. All our actions were justified as self-defense. In other words, we're free people now."

The cadets began to cheer in joy at the news. I chuckled, dodging Sasha's nearing arm to trap me in an armlock. Poor Mikasa wasn't able to react quickly and got caught within her grip.

I stood beside Hanji, slinging an arm around her with a big smile. "Man, I wish I was in the scene. It would be funny to see their reactions." I sigh.

"You wouldn't like the shape Erwin is currently in, Sara. I think you'd kill everyone in the room before we could even push through with the plans." She teases.

"Hey, I'm not that bad." I pouted. "I think."

"Sounds just like you." Levi said. "The gamble paid off."

"The lone choices of many managed to change the world. It wasn't just Erwin."

"And I managed to kill the three people you loaned me. Sorry." Levi said. "The thing is, a part of the Interior Police, their leader, Eren, and Historia are in a different area. If we don't find them soon..."

"I may have a clue on that. Let's get there and put an end of this battle."

"I'll get the horses ready, then." I took my arm from her shoulders and patted down my dirtied pants. "The rest of you, get the wagon and torches ready. We depart at once."

As we made our way to Rod Reiss's land, Hanji told us about how she finds this piece of land the most suspicious and the closest lead to Rod Reiss. Apparently, Erwin gave her an investigation report by the Scouts. She said that the chapel that the Reiss family were in one night were massacred after it was set on fire. Only Rod Reiss was saved from the disaster that struck upon them. It happened five years ago, during the Fall of Wall Maria.

It happened a few days just after Historia's mother was killed by the Interior Police. He sought out Historia the moment he lost his family. "Did they catch these so-called bandits?" I ask.

"No, why'd you ask?"

"If a man lost his family because of other people, his first initial thought would be to search for their murderers." I said. "But, he never did. You mentioned that the government could possibly have a titan of their own, so if we piece that together, it could be the Reiss family having a titan within their bloodline."
