The weather was too mild for midday; the sky looked gloomy and a cool breeze gushed through the rolled down windows of the taxi.

The Kejetia road was as busy as always, hawkers chasing after vehicles with their goods, tired drivers slouching behinds their steering wheels.

The dark and sturdy Uber driver leaned into his seat as he impatiently waited in the immobile traffic jam, tapping his index finger annoyingly against the wheel and clicking his tongue once in a while.

"I'm starving." Lily grumbled, leaning her head against the window and clutching her stomach. "Can I get something to eat?"

Ashton glanced up from his phone and tilted his get to get a better look at the distraught Lily. "You want something to eat? Here?"

She nodded. "Sure." Looking out the window she smiled, "A sachet of Fan-Yoghurt won't be bad."

Ashton nodded. He motioned a Yoghurt seller to their cab where he got himself, Lily, and John who was quietly seated beside the driver in the passenger's seat.

"Are you okay now?" Ashton asked, raising his brows at Lily.

She grinned and began to sip on the edge of the chilled, strawberry flavored drink. "It tastes so good." She moaned and licked her lips, shoving strands of her long, black weavon over her bare shoulders. She looked pretty and her dimples grew visible when she smiled.

Ashton's heart skipped a beat at the sound of the throaty moan and the way she slowly slicked her long, pinkish tongue over her lips sent his body into numbness.

"Can't you eat that without making noise?" He muttered and forced himself to look away.

"Pardon?" She asked.

Not turning to look at her and relieved when the car started to move, Ashton sighed. He slowly sipped on his drink as he stared out the window at nothing in particular.

"I can't believe we've been stuck in this traffic for almost an hour!" John groaned, shaking his head. He glanced at the back seat and furrowed his brows at, "You guys are worn out already?"

Lily groaned in reply. "You bet."

Driving for about fifteen minutes more, the driver finally pulled off the taxi from the busy road. He parked at the parking lot, in front of Gabby's Closet,  which was a beautiful two-storey boutique. It had mannequins dressed in beautiful attires and displayed beside the entrance of the boutique.

"We're here, finally!" Lily unclasped her seatbelt and nudged Ashton softly, "Are you getting down or not?"

He nodded and reached to unbuckle his seat belt. John had already stepped down and was waiting for them to do so too. He was in a blue polo shirt and green skinny jeans, his red headset tucked against his ear.

"You don't seem very excited, Ashton." Lily stood in front of him and held her waist when they finally hopped down from the cab. The driver had already sped off after they'd paid their fare.

"Uhm, no. It's alright." Ashton smiled and glanced at the boutique. Scratching his hair, he sighed inwardly. Lily always had a way of persuading him into doing absurd things. Just like this one; she'd successfully coerced him into escorting her to choose a fitness wear for her one-month work out with Marvin Gym And Spa.

What was his purpose there if John was tagging along? But not wanting to upset Lily, he willfully allowed himself to be dragged to this boutique.

"Let's go." He said with a smile, hoping to cheer the worried Lily.
