"Call her!" Felicia nudged John in the ribs and when he turned to her with a frown, she rolled her eyes.

"You've been staring at Adwoa since she entered the cafeteria, John. Just call her or walk to her, already." Ellie said, clearly irritated by John who was trying to hide his feelings from his crush.

He'd liked that girl since level 100 and Ellie was sure she knew about his feelings for her and had taken advantage of them. Adwoa would always sweet talk him into doing almost all of her project works and assignments for her.

What choice did he have when he thought playing the nice guy would eventually get her to notice him. With other bold and nice guys around her, he felt intimidated and therefore thought it was better to hide his feelings from her.

"You're such a coward, John. Honestly. What's so hard about calling her over and asking her on a date?"

"What?" John chuckled. "There's no way she'd accept to go on a date with a guy like me."

"And why wouldn't she? What's wrong with a guy like you?" Ellie asked.

John sighed. "You know what I'm talking about."

"No, we don't." Ellie said, glancing at Felicia who shrugged in response.

"She's never going to date someone as boring and..."

"And what?" Felicia asked.

"Who said you're boring? You can practically crack up a corpse into life."

John laughed. "You think so?"

Ellie smiled and nodded. "You're fun, John. You're nice and smart. I don't know of anyone who wouldn't love to be around you."

"I'm blushing." He joked, touching his cheeks affectionately.

"Now, go on and ask her out." Felicia said, gesturing with her chin at Adwoa who'd now sat down by a table in front of them.

John looked at her silently for a while and took in a deep breath. "Alright."

He stood up from his seat and walked towards Adwoa's table.

Ellie and Felicia stared anxiously as he talked to Adwoa.

"She won't turn him down." Felicia said confidently.

"I hope so."

When they saw Adwoa gesturing John to sit beside her. Ellie turned to Felicia with a smile. "It's working."

Felicia smiled and nodded. "Great." She suddenly squinted her eyes at Ellie, "So, are you saying you no longer have feelings for Michael?"

Ellie's smile wiped off. "I'm over him." She replied.

"Wow. I never thought you could ever get over him, Ellie. And so are you trying to say you're going to give Ashton a chance?"

"No, Felicia." She frowned.

"Why? I know you like him."

"I do?"

Felicia rolled her eyes. "It's obvious, Ellie. I'm sure you've liked him for a long time, you just don't want to admit it."

Ellie was quiet.

"You were hiding your feelings for him because you were still holding on to Michael. So now that you've made us aware you're no longer interested in Michael, what else is holding you back from going out with Ashton?"

Ellie sighed. She thought that was pretty obvious and Felicia needn't to ask.

"Lily?" She asked.

Ellie shrugged. "She loves him."

"I know. And so what are you going to do? He just told her he doesn't want a relationship with her."

"That doesn't mean I should go out with him. Have you considered how Lily will feel about that? She's a great friend and I don't want to hurt her."

"I understand." Felicia nodded.

Ellie sighed. She glanced at John and smiled when she saw how happy he was talking with Adwoa.

He really liked that girl. She chuckled.

It was actually funny how she'd pushed him to go over to his crush and confess his feelings but she couldn't same.

Maybe hers was different. She liked the wrong guy and it was better to bury those feelings and move on.
