It was the scowl on Oliver's face after the call that made Ellie furrow her brows. "What? What did he say?"
He glanced sharply at Elorm who was sound asleep on Ellie's bed. He suddenly began to turn slightly, making Oliver's frown intense. "He said we should let him go."
"Why? I thought you said he was T. P?"
Oliver sighed and with a shrug he answered, "I'm as confused as you are, but he's free to go."
Ellie was confused. How could they let him go when he'd practically traced him this far? All the evidence he'd presented proved Elorm was the secret admirer she'd been looking for.
"I don't understand. You mean he's not T. P?" She lifted her brows at him. When she saw Elorm turn again on the bed and letting out a groan, she quickly looked at him.
"What the hell just happened!" Elorm tried to sit up, holding his head in his hands. His eyes were shut as he winced.
Pursing her lips, she watched him open his eyes and look at her.
"What's going on here?" He grunted, switching to Oliver.
"I guess you don't remember harassing this young lady some minutes ago." Oliver answered scornfully.
"And who are you? You seem to be butting in my business a lot, Mister." Elorm frowned.
"No worries, for now I'm going to let you go." Oliver smirked. "You should be on your way home, I'm sure she wants to sleep." He gestured at the door.
When Elorm met Ellie's narrowed eyes, she quickly looked away. She couldn't look at him like she used to, not after what had happened between them and certainly not after finding out his intentions.
Whether he was T. P or not, she suddenly felt bad for his unrequited love. Sadly, she couldn't see him past a friend, which was something she knew he hated to hear from him.
Elorm got up from the bed and approached Ellie, "Good night. I'll see you tomorrow." He said briefly.
She nodded and opened the door for him, urging him to leave her room. She finally heaved a long sigh of relief when he left, it was as if a heavy load had been lifted off her head.
She went to her bed and began to straighten the sheets, ignoring the fact that Oliver was still in the room with her.
"I guess I should leave too." He said. "Anyways, I'm glad I came in real quick before he did something crazy to you."
She turned to look at him and forced a smile. "Thanks."
Oliver nodded and approached the door, "Good night, Ellie."
She nodded and watched him walk out of the door. She rushed to lock it up and leaning against the door, she shut her eyes. It had been a long day with lots of things happening and what she needed was a good sleep to wipe off the trauma and weariness.
Walking to her bed, she couldn't wait to fall sound asleep.

"Was it some sort of a blackmail?" Ashton asked, tucking the phone against his ear.
He was still awestruck, desperately trying not to believe that Celine Mensah and the cousin of The Shield's captain, Paula Smith were a couple.
How could that be? How was that even possible when he'd witnessed her in relationships with men? Elorm and of course, Andy.
Could either of them had noticed anything peculiar about her?
