"Change is scary but through the fear you will undergo a beautiful transformation. Adapt, rework and metamorphose. The butterfly didn't always have wings."

"Farfalla."
"Josey! Wait, hold up."
"Why are you calling her, farfalla?"
"That's what she is."
"But you never call her that."
"I don't think that concerns you."
"You are so whipped."
"Forget that! I want a cute nickname too."
"Lix is good enough."
Slowly, I open my eyes, the noise of them bickering waking me up. I don't even know when I fell asleep, one minute I was reading my book and the next I'm busy dosing off with the book on my chest.
While waking up from my little power nap, I feel a hand, gently massaging side. That gets me awake very fast. I sit up slowly and take a second to regain some of my memories. I completely forgot that Xander was sitting next to me because he was busy with work things on his laptop and occasionally was on the phone during the flight, busy messaging people and whatnot. While I was busy reading my book and filling my stomach with the absolutely amazing food that they offered us.
"Finally, you're awake!" Clara says from her seat, buckled and bouncing in excitement. I nod, rubbing my eyes and look out the window. We are still very much in the air. I look over to Xander, hand still on thigh.
It's then that I realized that I was quite literally sleeping on Xander. I was laying on my side, head on his lap and cuddling his right arm against me. How do I know this? When I sat up straight, his arm was under my head and I was holding onto it but I didn't think much of it because maybe when I fell asleep his arm was already there.
"Did I stop you from working? I'm sorry." I whisper and motion to his forgotten laptop and phone, sitting on the table in front of us. I also notice my book lying next to his things and give him a confused look because I know the book was lying on top of me.
"You didn't. You got really comfortable." He smirks and lifts his arm, the material of my off the shoulder dress leaving a mark behind on his arm because of how long I was cuddling his arm. I give him a sheepish smile.
"Don't let him fool you, Josey. I have a very clear photo of him sleeping while holding you." Felix wiggles his eyebrows and picks up his phone, the picture in question right there. I gape and lean over Xander to take a closer look. He pulls me back and blocks me view.
True to his word, I was fast asleep with my head on his lap and he had his arms wrapped around me and head against the seat, fast asleep as well. I smile at him and giggle when I see the slightest of redness cover his ears.
"He's never been able to sleep on a plane before." Ezra chimes in and laughs but quickly shuts his mouth and ducks, a phone flying across the plane and aimed in his direction. Before Ezra can start whining and Xander can start attacking the poor guy, a flight attendant walks towards us.
"Please fasten your seat belts, we will be preparing for landing soon."
We nod and thank her for letting us know because obviously there was an announcement or something and none of us heard it. We all buckle ourselves up and then get back to some small chitchat. I can't believe I slept for that long! I must've been asleep for hours but I blame the good food because I did feel like I was being put into a food coma before I fell asleep.
