"Chapter Four"

Liane's POV

Liane, Meg and V are the three most popular person when it comes to sports here in the campus.

Liane was the star player of tennis, Meg was the superstar player of soccer and V was the ultimate heartthrob hard to beat swimmer.

They always meet in the cafeteria after practice. It's like a habit that they can't stop. They just talk about the progress of each other on their chosen field of sports.

"Hey Liane! Over here." V said waving his arms for them to see him.

Liane grabbed Meg's hand and walk directly to V's direction.

"Hi V, you finished early didn't you? So how was it by now?" Meg inquired.

"Did you reach your goal? And guys please don't ask me about mine coz its stressful." Liane said pouting her lips.

"Don't be stressed dear. You'll look ugly if you do. So cheer up and just enjoy every minute of it. You'll get everything in no time." V said full of encouragement to his voice.

"Guys I think I need to get us something to drink." Liane said then stood up immediately.

While she was on her way to the soda section, Liane bumped a girl. She almost fell down but someone catch her on time. When she looked up it was Katarina and Rm.

She says thank you and smiled. She also whispered an apology. But Katarina said it's okay and that there's nothing to worry about.

Liane went ahead to get their drinks. On a second thought, Rm and Katarina look good together. They can be Royal Couples.

But wait, why are they together? Are they dating? She'll ask Meg and V if they know anything. Since it's her first time to see Kat with other guy other than Jk.

When she got back, she gave drinks to the two athlete and said, "Guys, do you know anything about Rm and Katarina?"

Meg and V replied in unison. "None that I know of, all I know is that she does not hang out with others aside from Jk." The two exchange glances.

They still said in unison, "Wait, why are you asking anyway?"

"When I left to get our drinks, I bumped Katarina and I almost fell, but Rm catched me. I said sorry and thank you, but Katarina said it was okay. Then they go together on a corner." Liane said nodding to the direction of the two.

"Hey guys tell me honestly, do you agree if I say that they look stunning together? And that they could be a Royal Couple? Look at them the way they stare at each other, the way they smile and laugh together. They look perfect." Liane said watching Kat and Rm eating and chatting.

She can't resist to get jealous. She wants something like that. It looks romantic and sweet. Liane dreams something like that.

V tapped her shoulder and said, "I agree with you. They look like a perfect match. Who knows maybe one day, they're already dating."

"Yes you're right. Maybe one day." Meg said on the other side. The three of them finished their soda and took off from the cafeteria.

Meg went to the dorm, V met his group mates to hang out and Liane went to the Library to do some research.

The scenes on the cafeteria keeps on coming back to her. It's the reason she can't concentrate now. She feels jealous and she doesn't know why.

There is something inside her that feels jealous and angry. She can't stop it. It grows every minute on her.

Liane is one of the richest at the campus. But not as elite as Katarina Petrova. Maybe that is the reason. On the whole campus she's just number two. While on their home, she is number one.

Since she can't concentrate, she decided to just go home and relax for a bit since it was a tiring day for her. She contacted her driver and asked him to fetch her at the school entrance.

She went home with divided attention. She still can't believe how she feels about what she saw.

To get relieved she went to take a shower and went out to go to the parlor and do her nails and hair. She wants a new look.

She wants everybody's attention by tomorrow.

Liane looked fab after all that she's done to herself. She cut her hair short, put on some make-up, decided to have flashy red nails, and bought as much new outfits as she could.

(Maybe now Katarina would be nothing compared to me) she thought to herself.

When she got home, her mom approached her with a great smile. "Hello my love, how was your day? I think you enjoyed it. You bought a lot of new stuffs again. And ahm I like your new look. Job well done!" Mrs. Leticia Collins said in amusement.

"I'm doing great mommy. And yeah I went shopping for my new outfits. I wanna throw the old ones. I'm not comfortable with them already." Liane answered amiably to her mother.

She went to her room and ask some maid to unload the car and put all the shopping bags at her bed.

(Should I use this flowing red dress for tomorrow? Or this black one.) She thought while looking at the two pieces of dress in front of her.

She's lost in her thoughts when someone knocked on her door. The door opened and her dad came in.

"And what exactly is this? You just shopped last week. Now this? Again? It's not that I don't want you to spend darling but please minimize the money you are spending." Mr. Carlisle Collins said a bit agitated.

"Sorry daddy, I can't help it. They are all nice and beautiful. It won't happen again I promise." Liane said apologetically.

She hugged her father and look at him with her playful pleading eyes.

"Okay, enough of your drama. But don't do this again. Hmmm?" Mr. Collins replied.

Liane arranged everything on her closet that takes her at least three hours. When she finished, she decided to wear the black dress for the next day.

She went down for dinner and right after dinner, she went back to her room and sleep peacefully. Looking forward to what tomorrow would bring her.
