"Chapter Fourteen"

Eloisa's POV

It's Monday, the ball will be held on Friday and starts at 7pm sharp.

Eloisa is getting nervous each day. She's in the library looking for a book to check out.

She saw Cathy doing the same, and she doesn't notice El beside her. She patted her shoulder, to let Cathy know she's there.

They were talking in hand gestures when they heard someone whispering.

They sneak to the other panel and saw Jk and a girl fighting. They were whispering.

They heard the last part which they heard clearly that Jk said that they are over.

"Oh my, did we hear that for real? Then who will he be with for Friday night?" Eloisa said in a whisper.

"Maybe no one. This is going to be hard for him." Cathy answered back. Their about to go when Cathy accidentally dropped her book.

*Jk and the girl looked at them imploringly*

Cathy mouthed sorry to them. But then Jk gestured them to come over.

"Sorry we didn't mean to interrupt you guys." Eloisa whispered.

"I know you guys almost heard everything. Don't worry it's okay. My best friend is right. I should have listened to her." Jk said

"Okay. So ah Cathy and I need to go. We're going to be late." El said at him to excuse themselves.

They were about to walk away but then Jk suddenly said,

"Girls who among the two of you doesn't have a date on Friday?" he asked looking at Eloisa.

"Sorry I got my date." El said wagging her head slowly.

*looks at Cathy pleadingly*

"No one asked me yet." Cathy responded.

"So will you be my date please? If you want me to kneel down, I will, just for you to say yes." Jk said to Cathy infront of Eloisa and the girl.

"No need for you to kneel down. I would gladly accept your offer. See you Friday?" Cathy ride on his scheme.

"Thanks my dear. Eloisa can I borrow Cathy from you?" Jk said

*Eloisa nods her approval, then smirked at the girl before turning around and leave*

"Shall we? I'll walk you to your room. Let me hold your hand dear you might slip on the way." Jk said ushering her slowly out of the place.

*Cathy blushed and don't know how to act exactly*

"Are you serious about the date thing?" Cathy asked.

"Yes I am. Sorry I have to drag you into this." said he.

Without them knowing, Eloisa was waiting for them outside.

"Cathy, Jk is everything went well?" El asked looking curious.

*both nods at the same time*

"Let's go I'll walk you to your respective rooms." said Jk smiling at them. As they were walking, Suga appeared from the cafeteria door. He grabbed Eloisa's hand.

*screamed in shock that calls the attention of all people around*

"Hey it's just me Suga. I'm looking all over the place for you. I need you to come with me." Suga said with a smile on his face.

"I can't. I have class to attend to. Maybe after class?" Eloisa answered back at him.

Cathy and Jk looked at the two. They smell something romantic. Jk then started to interrupt.

"Suga, is it okay if we leave you two behind?" Jk asked him

"Oh.. Yeah sure, sorry I forgot to say hi. But ah yeah I need to borrow her from you guys." he replied giving them a knowing smile.

"Alright she's all yours. Enjoy guys. Bye" Cathy and Jk said in unison.

The two turned around and walk away waving their hands.

"You don't have to worry El I already talked to your professor and he said its okay." Suga said offering his hand to her.

"If that's the case then I think I don't have other choice but to go with you then." Eloisa said

*Suga smiles at her, takes her hand and walk down the hallway*

"Where are we going anyway? And why seem so urgent?" Eloisa said curiosity is taking up on her.

"Just come with me and you'll see. I won't harm you okay that's for sure." he replied.

They walked hand in hand to the parking lot. They ride in Suga's car for about 15minutes.

They stopped in front of a restaurant. Looks closed but someone opened it for them.

"Let's come inside. I have a surprise for you." he said then winked.

Suga gestured her to come inside. She entered and was so shocked to see the place looking so romantic.

There are flowers everywhere and petals are all over the floor.

Suga went behind her and whispered "Happy Birthday El. Hope a simple celebration together with me like this will make you happy."

*tears falling down her eyes, emotions rolling in and out of her*

"Shhhh don't cry it's your day. Come let's eat." he said

"How did you know? I never tell anyone." Eloisa said obviously shocked

"It doesn't matter how. I have resources. Stop asking and let's eat." Suga said

"Okay thank you so much for this." El answered

They eat, chitchat, drink wine, and laugh at each other. Then after, he gave her flowers, chocolates and a necklace for a present.

They enjoyed each other and had a lovely day together. It turns out to be a day of celebration, and date.
