"Chapter Six"

Cecil's POV

Cecil Richards the most beautiful bachelorette in the campus. She's said to be looking for her perfect one.

Her parents wanted her to marry as soon as she can. The thing is that she wants to marry someone worth it.

She doesn't want to live her married life with great regrets. She's on her way to school when she saw Jhope walking.

"Good morning Jhope, where are you headed to? Come on, I'll drive you." she said

"Thanks for the offer, but my car's over there. I'll get it and head school. You go ahead. See yah." he replied and smile. Jhope an independent bachelor like Jimin. Handsome, athletic, and hard working in his parents company.

He's the ultimate playboy in school. He have girlfriends here and there.

Cecil and Jhope arrived almost at the same time. They parked right to each other. While walking, Cathy the famous cheerleader of school appeared.

She's the daughter of a wealthy family from Singapore. The one and only child of Mr. & Mrs. Pierce.

Cathy was a down to earth kind of person. The opposite character of Liane. But almost the same as Katarina.

"Hi Cecil, good morning. It's a lovely day isn't it?" Cathy greeted her.

"Yes it is. Cathy have you heard what happened yesterday between Liane and Katarina?" Cecil inquired.

Jhope was walking silently behind them and listening. Cathy replied, "Oh yes I did. I was shocked at first but Kat has the point. If I were on her shoes, I'll do the same for a friend."

"Yes me too. Everybody knows that Liane is such a brat." said Cecil.

"Well, that's what she get for being rude. Eloisa is a fine young lady. Because if not, Kat won't even bother to defend her." Jhope said and winked. They were walking in the hallway when Katarina appeared from behind.

"Hey guys good morning. Have a nice day." Kat greeted them and went directly to the music room.

The three of them exchange glances. "Kat looked happy. There's no clue of what happened yesterday." Cecil stated.

"She's just taking everything the positive way. For her, there's no point on living life in the past. Everyday is a new day. It's a new blessing so why not make a better memory." Jk interrupted.

"I know coz I'm her best friend. For me, the way she look at things was fantastic. Try to apply it guys and it works well." Jk added

They were shocked but then felt happy. No wonder she's very popular here. Cecil then thought to herself.

(A simple way of view about life but affects the lifestyle of a person. She may be the most elite that no one wants to talk to, in fear of rejection but now I know that she's the complete opposite of what other people say.)

She could be the kindest, loving, friend anyone could ever wish for.

"Thank you Jk for the information and tip. We appreciate it. Right girls?" Jhope said with a smile.

Jk went down the hall and fetch his girl on the other room next to the music room.

The two girls went to their lockers. Jhope on the other hand went directly to his class.

Cathy and Cecil part ways after getting their things from the locker. Cecil was walking slowly, thinking if she'll be given a chance to talk to Kat.

When she's about to turn going to the east wing, she heard someone calling her name. She turn around and saw Katarina.

"Kat, why? Anything I can do for you?" she said her eyes full of joy.

"Nothing actually. Are you going to the east wing? I'm headed that way too. Can we go together?" Kat asked hopeful.

"Yes I am. Come on let's go. We don't want to be late for our first subject." Cecil said smiling.

"Kat, can I ask you something? Hope you won't get mad." she added.

Kat looked at her and said "Yes, anything. Go ahead dear ask and I'll answer." she replied

"Okay then, by any chance would you accept me, Cathy, and Jhope as your new friends? We wanted to be your friend way back, but we're afraid to be rejected. We thought you're too guarded. Your only friend here was Jk no one else." Cecil stated.

She can't hold her laugh anymore and Cecil got puzzled by her reaction, but then Kat replied.

"Sorry, I just can't help it. All of you really thought thay way. That I have my own world? And only Jk can enter to it. I am open to have new friends you know. So don't be afraid. The three of you can be my friends just like Rm and Eloisa." she said

"Really? Thak you so much Kat. It's an honor to be your friend." Cecil replied.

They reached their destination. They are just one room apart. They said their goodbyes and see you later schemes. Cecil was amazed by the attitude of Katarina. A well-known person like her was very humble for a rich elite daughter.

No wonder if there are lots of men who likes her secretly. Maybe she'll be a great daughter-in-law one day.

She was thinking:
(Can I also be her best friend like Jk?) I really hope I can.

Cecil and the others were all busy for the rest of the day. They don't even have time to meet up somewhere in the area.
