"Chapter Ten"

Meg's POV

**Flashback**

Meg enjoyed her lunch with the big group few hours ago. Thanks to Kat's idea.

The group is complete except for one missing. Her friend Liane was not there. Meg heard she's excused from school for a week.

Meg was wondering what's happening to her. She's a little worried at her.

(I know that she's rude, high tempered, boastful kind of person, but she's still my friend.) Meg thought to herself.

While they were busy laughing, Jane suddenly asked if anyone knows the reason for Liane's absence two days now.

No one answered. Everyone looked at her waiting for her to tell something.

She shrugged and said, "I don't have any idea either. She's not calling or even text me. I'm also wondering why."

They changed topic and decided to talk about the coming ball."So pretty ladies, do you know what kind of gown you'll wear?" Kat asked the girls, with a wide smile on her lips.

"I do. I like my gown to be sky blue in color and backless." said Cecil

"I like mine full of shining crystals. Any design will do as long as I look fab wearing it." Elaine said.

"I want mine to be the most elegant looking as it can be." said Meg

"Mine will be a big surprise. I'll be the gorgeous one." Jane added to their conversation.

"I'll have mine as simple as it can be, but I'll make sure to look fabulous." Cathy said winking at Cecil.

"I better have mine simple too but extremely beautiful." Eloisa added

"Well, mine is a big surprise. You'll know soon enough." Kat said giving Rm a secret glance.

"I'm just wondering what Liane will wear and who her partner might be." Meg said

"Well we'll never know. Maybe she is cooking up something extravagant for that day. Who knows, right?" Eloisa answered back at Meg.

"Oh come on let's cut this conversation out and eat a lot to take up some more energy." Katarina said

They are quiet for the remaining time. And they eat a lot.

**End Flashback**

No one is asking her for the ball. How sure she is that someone would ask her out.

Liane is nowhere in sight, when she needs her opinion the most. Not even a single message from her.

(What will I do? I can't really decide on what to do.) Meg thought to herself.

Well, it is more than one week before the ball. Anything can happen in a few more days.She's on her way to her next class, when she accidentally heard two people talking inside the music room.

"Why of all the beautiful ladies here, it is me you like to be your date?" El asked confused.

"I don't know either, but I think it will be very exciting. So would you be my date?" Suga asked again looking hopeful.

"Come on Suga, don't play your tricks on me. It won't work to me dear." Eloisa answered back at him.

"Eloisa I'm not playing tricks on you. I am dead serious here. I want you to be my date at the ball. Please accept my proposal." Suga replied with pleading eyes.

(OMG I can't believe this. Is this for real? Suga asking Eloisa to be her date? What a lucky fella.)

She hang out for a little while more.

"Alright, alright I'll accept it. I'll be your date for the ball. This is the first and the last time I'll say yes to you." Eloisa finally decided.

Suga smiled and said "Thank you so much Eloisa. You won't regret this. I promise." The two talked a little more, but she decided to go ahead.

She does not want to get caught eavesdropping at their conversation.

Oh my Meg can't believe it. Suga asked Eloisa to be his date. How she wish it was her.

One thing is for sure. Suga is not available already. Well there's more to come.

After her last class, she went straight home to take a rest and look at some gown design.

Just look fabulous and maybe someone will ask her out.
