chapter thirty two

i began to load up twitch as i texted everyone, making sure they were ready for the game and clicked into discord on my other tab. slowly, val, bella and eleanor all joined into it as i started my stream.

"helllllllo everyone!" i said as the chat began to roll in, saying hi to me. "today i am have a chill bed wars, and maybe among us stream with my best friends!!" i undeafened as they all said hi greeted my chat. they all said their names so the chat could recognize their voices. i logged into the server and invited my friends, waiting for them to join me in the lobby. eleanor joined first and i spammed the shift key, crouching up and down and punching the air in front of her. soon after, val and bella joined into the server, joining our circle. we ran over to the bed wars section and clicked, waiting to get teleported into the game. we were dropped in to spectate the last few minutes of the game before getting put onto a team. the yellow player knocked off the last surviving green player to end the round, sending us into the arena.

"okay blue team love it." i said as we spawned it. i looked around at our surroundings as the countdown started.

"what's the plan?" bella asked as the timer reached 7 and continued to count down.

"i'll build to other islands, two people stay here and block off the bed, and someone else go in the other direction. ready?" i said as the timer reached three. they all said yes and the timer ran out as i stood over the iron, getting just enough to get a stack of blocks and a sword. someone from the yellow team was already making their way over to our base i built up a few blocks and waited for them to come over, as soon as they were a few blocks away i jumped onto the bridge and knocked them off the side, running back to their island.

"okay y/n." eleanor said as the death notification showed in the chat. i smiled as i dropped down onto the covering of the bed, breaking the top blocks and destroying it. the explosion loud in my headphones.

"someone switch with me!" i said, my health being low, "go kill the yellow members, i'll protect the bed while i heal." i made my way back to our island as i swapped places with bella, she built a few blocks up and ran to the other island, stocked with an iron sword and enchanted leather armor. i stood over the iron as i zoomed in and saw val bridging over to the grey team to our right. she was almost knocked off but she caught herself and quickly spun around, knocking the other player off instead of herself. "yes val!" i said as i moved over to the shop and bought two obsidian and covered the top of the bed with it. eleanor was busy beside me, collection iron and getting blocks.

"i'm heading to the middle," she said as she began to bridge off, "i'll get some diamonds to bring back." i nodded as she made her way over. i saw chat messages of bella killing the green team on the island one from the yellow. val had just destroyed the grey bed and was making her way back. i swapped with her and made my way back over to the island, pulling out my sword and charging the two players they had left. one was relatively low and the other had full health, but i still needed to try. i killed the one with four hearts easily, but taking a beating from the other player on the team. i spun around and began to hit that player, trying to remember what dream has taught me about pvp as i jumped around the island, turning around to hit the player. i held my breath as we both hit each other at the same time the player died and i breathed out as i looked at my health bar, half a heart.

"YES Y/N!" bella said as we all met up at our base island. i smiled as eleanor came back a few seconds later, half a stack of diamonds on her.

"perfect." val said as eleanor put it in the chest.

"okay," i said, "there is only one team left, the red team. it's time to win this." i said as i spun my character around, looking at them. they all shook their heads violently.

"let's win this bitch." val said. we all suited up and made our way onto the middle island and saw the red team there, bows at the ready. the bridge was already half way done, so it was easier than i thought to get over. we spread out along the island ignoring and dodging the occasional arrow as we ran around.

"three, two, one!" i said, calling my friends into action. bella and i went for the bed while grace and eleanor went for the players. bella and i ended up breaking the bed pretty fast, turning and getting ready to fight the rest of the players. i hit the lowest one with my sword two or three times, killing them relatively quick. eleanor and bella ended up killing their matches to, which left us with one last person. i looked around for the player, hoping to see them on the horizon. my eyes caught a glimpse of a red blob and i immediately started to chance after it, catching up near the green team base. my team followed close behind my as we began to surround the last player. i hit them and it boosted them, just enough to send them off the edge of the world. we all yelled in victory as we punched the air.

"LETS GOOO!" val yelled as she spun around.

"we are just too good." bella added, eleanor agreeing with her. we soon got teleported into the lobby.

"so what do you say? a few more rounds and then we can jump into among us?" i asked my friends. they all sounded good with the plan as i clicked the bedwars game once more. as we loaded in the spectator box, a donation popped up on my screen.
