The guys decided to go somewhere, and Kat chose to stay behind. She sat by herself in the studio, fingers grazing over the ukulele in her lap.

She started to play, no particular song in mind. It seemed like the words sort of flowed out of her. Like she had had this song written for years, and memorized it forward and backward.

"So much has happened, think of what we've done
In the time that the Earth has traveled 'round the Sun
Winter, Spring, Summer and we're back to Fall
We've been together hand-in-hand through it all
From the minute we kissed and my heart skipped a beat
To the night that we danced, I was swept off my feet
Sure is every year has to come to an end
I'd go spinnin' 'round the Sun with you again and again and again and again
I think I kinda, you know
I think I kinda, you know
Like the way that we flow
Like the way that we go
And I love
I think I kinda, you know
I think I kinda, you know
I think I kinda, you know, you know, you know"

"That's a really pretty song," Kat jumped around Julie's voice in the doorway. "You have a really good voice,"

"Oh, uh, thank you," Kat smiled sheepishly. "I was just messing around," she giggled.

"Is that yours?" Julie asked, pointing to the uke in the ghosts hands.

"Yeah, but it was here. How did you get it?" Kat asked.

"Must have been something my mom had." Julie smiled sadly.

"I know what it's like, you know." Kat looked at the girl. "Losing a parent? My dad died when I was thirteen. It really sucks, and I'm sorry that you have to go through it."

"Thank you," Julie responded. "I'm sorry you had to go through it too. It's been rough. My aunt thinks moving is moving on, but I don't think any of us want to move," she shook her head.

"That's weird. My mom thought that too. She wanted to pack us up and take us out to New York City, where she grew up. My dad was a musician, too. So we lived out here all our lives," Kat explained.

"He was?" Julie asked, referring to Kat's Dad. Kat nodded.

"Jimmy Morgan," Kat shrugged. "He was a country singer," Julie smiled.

"I know Jimmy Morgan! My mom was his best friend when they were growing up," Julie explained.

"No way, your mom is Rose?" Kat asked, with wide, happy eyes. Julie nodded.

"This is so awesome," Julie smiled again, and Kat nodded in agreement.

"Guess they brought us together then, huh?" Kat laughed. She looked at the sky. "Thank you, Dad,"

Julie followed suit, only her phrase; "Thank you, Mom,"

The girls talked and messed around the rest of the night, waiting for the boys to return. When they didn't, Kat got worried, and Julie went in to go to bed. Kat assures Julie that they'd be back, but even she wasn't sure if that was true.

"Where are you guys?" Kat whispered to herself, thinking of a place and blinking to it.

She looked everywhere around her, and couldn't find the stupid ghosts anywhere. "Look up!" she heard, her ears perking at the slightest, and she followed the command, tilting her head to read the giant sign. Reggie waves at her. She let out a breath of relief.

'Orpheum'

The three boys sat together, under the sign. Kat's eyebrows furrowed and she began to laugh, blinking herself up there with them.

"You guys are idiots. I was worried," Kat pushed them.

"Aw, wittle Kat was worried about wittle old us," Luke said, his bottom lip poking out in mock sadness.

"Shut up, dork," Kat sighed, smiling gently.

"So how'd you find us?" Alex asked the girl, and she shrugged.

"I don't know...I just thought about you guys, and blinked myself here," Kat replied.

"What are you? Our guardian Angel?" Reggie's eyes were wide. Kat giggled at him.

"Maybe I am, Reginald," she teased. He groaned.

"I forgot we told you my full name. Great going, Alex," Reggie punched his band mate.

"That was 25 years ago," Alex said and waved him off.

The four ghosts laughed together, sitting on a roof, and getting closer by the second.
