Julie came home from school with a flyer in her hand. She was in the studio with Reggie, Luke, and Kat who all stared at it with either bored or excited expressions.
Kat was smiling, as well as her boyfriend beside her. Luke was unfazed.
"We're playing a school dance? Sweet!" Reggie exclaimed, showing Kat the flyer he held.
"Ooo yay! That sounds fun," Kat agreed, her eyes brighter than they had ever been before. She was sure her extreme happiness was because of Reggie.
"It's not exactly the Strip," Luke said. Julie chuckled.
"And you're not exactly alive, so you should be happy we have our first gig," Reggie told him.
"I wasn't in love with the idea at first either, but it could be a great way for us to build a following, right?" Julie asked them, watering the plants in the studio.
"Yeah! Yeah. We need to play wherever we can, whenever we can," Reggie proposed.
"No, you're right." Luke said. "Let's rock those kids' faces off and then play the clubs," he said.
"Why is everything you say so violent?" Kat asked, earning a chuckle from her boyfriend. She moved closer to his side for 'protection' from her violent friend.
"And then record a single that gets a billion streams?" Julie asked.
"I don't know what that is, but hopefully it gets us a manager and a tour," Luke replied.
"Then we release a bunch of hit albums," Julie finished.
"Put out a country album that does surprisingly well," Reggie suggested. Kat slapped his arm. Julie gave him a look. "I shred on the banjo, so..."
"Then, I'll learn how to fiddle," Julie said, as she fist bumped Reggie.
"Hey," Kat pouted, "my dad was a country artist and his music was lovely," she huffed, crossing her arms at Reggie's comment about country being 'surprisingly well.'
"Stop, you look like a little child that dropped her lollipop, and I can't handle the cuteness," Reggie closed his eyes, both Julie and Luke watched the scene unfold amusedly. "And, yes, baby, your dad's music was amazing. He is the only successful country artist, and we will be the next,"
"Baby?" Julie asked, squealing with excitement.
"Baby?" Luke gagged. Kat slapped him.
                               "Shut it, Lukey," Kat glared.
"And before we know it we're being inducted to the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame," Luke exclaimed, ignoring the glare being sent his way.
"But one of us isn't there. Because we had a blowout in 2032," Reggie said.
"My money's on Alex," Kat said. "He's just so sensitive. I am too, but that's besides the point,"
"Yeah," the boys agreed with her.
"What are we waiting for? Let's get rehearsing!" Luke said.
                               "Uh...where is Alex?" Julie asked.
"No, idea, but—" Kat was cut off when a white light appeared, revealing Ellie in a pink sundress.
"Hi Kat! Hi Luke, Reggie, Julie," the girl said. "I hope you don't mind that I'm here. Willie left me a few minutes ago. He's so mean sometimes. I just wanna hit him," she ranted, angrily, clenching her fist and making a disgusted look. She relaxed, and shrugged. "But, I kind of see him as my older brother, so I can't hurt him,"
