Katerina or now known as Kat, finds Heaven to be a little different then she expected.
When she meets the guys from the band Sunset Curve, Kat finds herself falling from the sky...(for the second time) literally. Both times... That is when she mee...
Julie entered the studio with her school bag on her shoulders, looking for the four ghosts she'd befriended the night before.
When they were no where to be seen, Julie worried in the slightest. "Guys?" she asked. She walked around, spinning in a circle. "Guys?"
Smiling softly down at the grand piano that belonged to her mother, Julie traced her fingers across the beautiful instrument, before finding sheet music that had been left for her, from her mother.
Her fingers landed onto the keys, and she found herself sitting down at the bench. It wasn't long before she began playing the music, singing along with it:
"Here's one thing I want you to know You got some place to go Life's a test, yes but you go toe-to-toe You don't give up, no you grow

What Julie didn't know as she sang, was that her father was listening to her from the side of the house. The sun rose, shining brighter, suddenly.

Carlos walked out of the house, hearing his sister's voice echoing through the neighborhood. His smile grew. His sister was back.

Blinking into the garden, Kat listened to Julie sing the song she had accidentally glanced over on top of the piano. Kat felt her non-beating heart warm up. She felt tears prick her eyes and her smile was unbelievably wide. Julie got her voice back.
"Wake up, wake up if it's all you do Look out, look inside of you It's not what you lost It's what you'll gain
Raising your voice to the rain Wake up your dream and make it true Look out, look inside of you"
The first thing that Kat noticed when she blinked into the back of studio, behind Julie, were the boys standing, completely astonished at the angelic sound that came from the girl on the piano who told them she couldn't play.
"When you feel lost Relight that spark time to come out of the dark Wake up mm-mm wake up"
Julie played the last note. She held the sheet music close to her chest. Kat couldn't make out the message on the bottom of the page, but she knew it made Julie cry, so it must have been from Julie's mother.
Reggie's hand slipped out of the pocket of his leather jacket, and he put it down at his side, not realizing Kat's presence next to him. When his hand brushed hers, Kat smiled slightly. The four ghosts watched Julie, in silence, them each feeling a hundred different emotions.

So this is part two of the first episode! It's a bit shorter because I like to make filler chapters to give the book more length, and as I mentioned before— to give Kat some songs for herself. I will also be posting part one of 'Bright' today as well, and possibly another filler! Stay tuned!!
