"Oh, great angle. Yeah." Reggie said, to a girl in the cafè near Julie's house. Kat sat back with her arms crossed, watching the girl take pictures of her food.

"Is this what people do nowadays? Take pictures of their food?" Kat chuckled.

"I heard someone say 'camera eats first' the other day. So, I guess," Reggie shrugged. The girl took another picture. "Now that's a good pic,"

"Is this what we're here for? To watch people take pictures of food?" Alex asked.

"It's fun," Reggie said. "Watch this. People never stop looking at their phones." Reggie began to move the pastry away from the distracted lifer. He made "Whoop! Ah! Nuh-uh!" noises as she grew confused and looked up from her cellular device. She got up and walked away. "And Luke said something about this place being a hot spot for music industry people," Reggie waved his arms around.

"Yes!" Luke shouted, stealing a pen from the other man who had just signed the page in front of them. "Boys! Kat, being a ghost definitely has its privileges," he said.

"What do you mean?" Kat asked, giving him a look. "What did you do?"

"I just wrote our names on the playlist for tonight," Luke said.

"Ahem, Lukey, my intelligent, talented, dear friend...Julie. Hates. Us," Kat told him, making him flinch.

"I'm getting a little worried about him. He keeps forgetting Julie quit the band," Alex said, originally to Reggie and Kat, but at the end of his sentence he directed it towards Luke.

"And that she's gonna come back as soon as she knows we have a great gig," Luke assumed.

"But if she doesn't come back, let's not forget, we do have somewhere else we can play and eat pizza," Reggie said, wide eyed, holding his hands up like he was praising something.

"My pizza loving boyfriend everyone," Kat said, pointing at Reggie's head from above him, and letting her arm swing around. Reggie pulled her close and kissed her temple. Kat giggled.

"Dude, I know. It was awesome to be seen by lifers at Caleb's party, but...but we got this with Julie. We don't need him," Luke said.

"I agree," Kat mumbled, shivering at the thought of her uncle. "Something about him makes me feel sick,"

A jolt came from the four friends, and Kat's eyes grew in surprise.

"Oh! It's the same thing again!" Alex said.

"Just like yesterday!" Luke shouted.

"Again?" Kat asked. "Wait you mean you guys have been getting this jolts? That's the first time I felt something like that... I mean, I've been getting these sudden pains but I thought I was stressing," Reggie gave the boys a worried glance.

"We didn't want to tell you, because we knew you'd worry," Luke said.

"Of course I'd worry! You guys are my best friends!" Kat exclaimed.

"It feels like that time I was fixing my amp in the rain," Reggie said, trying to calm his angry girlfriend. Alex looked at him with his mouth agape.

"You shouldn't...okay. Look, do you think something's wrong with us?"

"Yeah. Yeah, we ate ten pounds of pizza yesterday without a stomach. I'm sure it's just our bodies working through it." Luke guessed.

"I don't know, Luke. I mean, technically I only had one slice." Kat said.

"So we're just gonna forget about getting back at Trevor? That jerk stole our music." Reggie said, angrily. Kat shot him a pointed look.

"Reg, he has to live with the guilt. If you guys don't learn to let it go, Julie will never come back to the band," Kat placed her hand on his, and he gave her a sigh.
