Chapter 7

The next day passed by, and it was normal, for now. Y/N went to the same place and this time, Optimus picked her up. He became her guardian and he was very happy. He was doing everything he could to protect her and help her. Heck, he even tried his best to keep her company!

Y/N always wore comfy clothes like shorts since some Merformers like Bumblebee were playful. They could splash at any moment, making kids shriek in surprise while being soaked with water. Optimus would chuckle seeing Y/N wet. It was funny to him, but he couldn't help but find her... beautiful. He did of course noticed it when he saw her for the first time, but being wet with water she was also still beautiful.

"Optimus, we got a weird signal. The Decepticons are collecting Energon crystals for a strange machine," Ratchet said in a serious tone while he swam up.

"Then we better check it out. The machine could be extremely dangerous to us and for our human friends. Thank you, Ratchet." Optimus then looked at others. "Others come with me. Ratchet will stay here with humans."

Y/N couldn't help but be curious. This was the first time that she heard about a first mission. Sure, Jack, Miko, and Raf heard it a lot because they know Merformers longer than Y/N herself. She saw that Optimus looked at her for a second before swimming away with others, except Ratchet. Y/N probably thought her guardian was just checking her before leaving for the mission. But in reality, the Prime was worried about her. He's her guardian after all and his job was to protect her, keep her company, and especially... keeping her safe from dangers.

Once they were gone, Ratchet went back to his work as usual. It was kinda boring when Merformers weren't in their hideout.

It was quiet for like 10 minutes until Ratchet spoke: "I have to check something. I'll be back soon. Do not leave." He spoke the last tone very serious and strict. That's when he swam away.

Miko, being a trouble maker teen she was, sneaked off. Of course, the Autobots wouldn't like that at all. Sneaking away wasn't smart, especially when the Autobots were in a deadly war against the Decepticons.

"Miko, wait!" Jack shouted as he ran after Miko.

"Miko!" Raf ran after them.

Y/N couldn't believe it when she saw what Miko did. Did she just sneak off? Yes, she did. It was such a bad idea. Since she was 18 and the oldest of the kids, she ran after them. She had to keep an eye on them. Of course, the Autobots would be disappointed if the found out that they left the hide-out.

After Y/N arrived, she saw Miko watching the epic fight between the Autobots and Decepticons. Jack and Raf were trying to drag Miko back to the Autobots hie-out, but no use. The troubled teen was fighting back.

Y/N ran and dragged Miko. "Are you crazy, Miko?!" She whispered in an angry tone.

Just as Miko was about to answer, Y/N saw a large hand about to grab them. Y/N pushed Jack, Miko, and Raf just one time, but she... got caught.
