The New Job

You hear your alarm blaring at you as you wake up suddenly. You look over to see your clock says 4:00 A.M. you realize that you should have gone to bed earlier even though you did go to sleep at 9:00. You get up and go shower and pick out you outfit for your first day at the BAU.

You were just hired as a new BAU recruit straight out of Harvard. You were the top of your class and are so ready to be part of something that will help people. That has been your dream since before you can even remember.

You pick out a nice black dress that fits you very well. You want to make a good impression on your new coworkers even though you haven't met any of them except for talking to Aaron Hotchner on the phone. You look over at your clock again and realize you need to get going so you wont be late. You run out of your apartment and get into your car. Your apartment is only a couple blocks from the main building. You picked it out because If you are called in for a case, you would be the first one there and get the whole scoop before everyone else.

As you pull up to the parking lot, you realize you have your own parking space! You are so excited you start to pull in right away, but you don't see the guy walking in front of your car, you pull to a stop and barely miss him. He looks back to you and makes an annoyed face. He comes up to your window and knocks on it. You slowly roll the window down, but you can't bring yourself to look at him.

He looks to the parking sign and looks back at you, "are you the new agent? Agent Y/L/N?" you look at him surprised.

"yes, and you are?"

"My name is Doctor Spencer Reid, I am 'the genius' as my teammates call me. I guess I will walk you into the building and introduce you to the team! Well, only if I don't get hit by your car before that." He laughs and walks over to the sidewalk to wait for you to pull in. you look over to him annoyed, but you go to park and get out.

At this point, you knew you would love Spencer Reid with all our heart and you knew you had to ask him out.

Spencer opens your door for you, and you get out. He closes the door behind you and you both walk up the stairs to the building. As you get to the front door, you start to slow down, and Spencer looks back at you.

"why are you slowing down, we have to get in before everyone steals the coffee!" you look at him and laugh.

You think to yourself, 'ok this is it, this is where my new life begins. I am so ready.' You walk through the door Spencer was holding into the new life that was waiting for you, the good and the bad.
