Dillauded trauma

the hospital

When you wake up again, you can see lights above you, but they keep moving. You assume you have made it to the hospital. You then see a doctor lean over you and say, "oh your awake, we are rushing you to surgery because you are in pretty bad shape but we should be able to help you, stay in there."

You fall back unconsciousness and start to dream about your mom again. You are at the park this time. You and her are playing with your old dog, running around and throwing the ball for him. She looks so beautiful in the dress she was wearing, even your dad was playing with you guys. He never used to play with you. But your mom begins to fade away. You try to yell for her, but she was just gone, just like that.

You wake up suddenly, but this time you are not moving, you are just laying down. You see spencer to your right, sleeping on the couch in your room. You do not want to wake him up because he looks so peaceful. But as you turn over, his eyes flicker open to look at you. He jumps up and comes to your side, "oh my gosh, your awake!! You have been out for a little over 3 days! We were all so worried about you. Let me go call the team."

About 10 minutes later, the team is all crowded in your room, laughing and crying happy tears for you, that you are finally awake. The doctor then comes into the room and says that you need more rest if you want to go home, he says one person can stay for a couple more minutes. You obviously look at spencer as he looks back to you. The whole team understands, and they leave to go wait for Reid back in the waiting room.

Spencer leans in close to you but he doesn't kiss you because you have a face cast because you had broken many bones in your face. "how long was I out? How hurt am i? did you kill charlotte? When can I get back to work? Oh my gosh, is your arm ok, you got shot!" you start saying but you are getting so worked up your heart rate starts climbing. Spencer backs away from you and starts stroking your arm to get to get you to calm down.

"you were out for 3 days In a medically induced coma because the doctors wanted you to heal before you had to worry about all of us. We moved you back to Virginia so you could be closer to home. You broke your left leg and when it was shot, you lost a lot of blood but the doctors got everything back to normal. You also broke your nose and 2 other bones in your face. You had a bit of internal bruising but nothing severe. We caught charlotte when she shot your leg, but that meant she also had time to shot me in my arm, but I am ok, just focus on you for right now." Spencer says sadly as you start looking at your leg and start crying. You look back up to his arm and try to take your arm up to touch it, but spencer stops you and sets your arm back onto the bed. "you need to rest, don't worry about me."

The doctor comes back in and tells you that you need to rest. Right as spencer turns to go back to sleep on the couch, you grab his good hand and pull him back. "please, you need to go get some rest at your own house in you own bed. You can come visit me tomorrow." You say as spencer tries to object, but you stop him with your finger to his mouth. He just smiled to you and nods as he turns to leave.
