The addiction

About a week after you got home from the hospital, you make spencer go back to sleep in his own apartment. He only agrees because you can walk short distances by yourself. But he tells you he will be back tomorrow, but you say no because you want him to get back to work. "ok fine but I will be right back over after the day is done so be expecting me." Spencer says as he starts to gather his things.

The next day you wake up around 8 am, because you have to go to the store. You couldn't let spencer go because you needed to get special items for yourself that you didn't want anyone, even spencer, to know. You somehow make it to the car without falling. You drive to the store and make it around everywhere even though you only needed one thing.

You head back home and put everything away. You pull out the special item that you went for. You are very exhausted from walking around the store, so you take it to your bedroom. You pull out the needle that you got and dipped it into the bottle of dilaudid. You know taking this drug is wrong but you just want to see your mom again.

You stick the needle into your arm and push the liquid into your arm. You suddenly feel tired and fall back.

This time, you see your mom at the hospital. The one where she died. You can see her face is all burned because of the fire that had started at the scene of the car crash. She is on life support so she can't talk to you but you know she would say that you are so strong and that you will be able to make it without her. You start crying as you see the doctor come and unplugs all the machines.

Suddenly you wake up to a knock at the door. You look at the time and remember that spencer was going to come over. You hurry to put the needle and bottle away in you drawer. You can hear spencer knocking harder, "Y/N are you in there? Are you ok? Do you need me to knock this door down?" spencer says with a scared tone in his voice. You rush to the door as fast as your crutches can take you and you swing open the door.

"you need to calm down, im right here" you say angerly.

"woah, are you ok? Why are you so mad?" Reid says as he walks past you into your apartment. You sigh and walk over to your couch and sit down so you can hold your head. "are you having a headache? Do you need to go back to the hospital? Did you not heal all the way?!" spencer says, and he starts to worry.

"no, I'm fine, I just got up to fast because you were going to knock my door down." You say even angrier than the first time.

"ok well I'm sorry but this isn't good, especially that you are having headaches so I'm going to take you to the hospital to make sure you're ok."

"NO! I am fine, I'm not leaving here, you can leave now I don't need you here!" you yell at spencer. You can see the hurt in his eyes but you don't care. You see him pick up his phone and dial 911.
