The aftermath

"911 what is your emergency? ..."

About 8 minutes later, you finally hear the sirens pull up to your apartment. You hear people running up the stairs to your door. When spencer came to your apartment, he left the door open but you didn't know why, but now you do, he was "excited" to use the drugs you brought. The paramedics burst through the door and you yell, "here! Were in here!" they burst into the bathroom and push you away from spencer and that's the last you remember before you fell to the floor with a headache and passed out.

A couple hours later you wake up suddenly and remember everything that had just happened. You try to get out of bed but J.J. stops you. You look at her and ask, "wait, I thought you guys were in Idaho on a case?" J.J. just looks back to you sadly.

"no, I mean we were, but the police called us from spencer's phone and told us what happened." J.J. says as hotch walks into the room. "he's not awake yet but the doctor says he is doing a lot better. You saved him Y/N. he would not have survived without the CPR you gave him."

You suddenly start crying, "this is all my fault, spencer would have never gotten access to the drug if I hadn't bought them, I should have been more considerate about him." You cannot seem to stop crying. J.J. comes over to you and tries to calm you down, "this is not your fault and you know it. You did not even know spencer was addicted before you had already bought and used it."

You look around and realize you are in your own hospital room which you did not notice before. "why am I in a hospital bed? It's not me that's sick, its spencer!" but you look down to your foot and realize, your foot hurts more than it normally had. "you had to get surgery on your foot because when you were giving spencer CPR your cast broke and made your foot twist. You will be ok but you need bedrest for at least 3 weeks, and no work either."

"but I've already been out for almost a month!!!" you say as you turn to hotch.

"then you need to stop getting hurt" hotch says as he laughs.

Morgan suddenly runs into your hospital room and says, "spencer's awake and he's asking for everybody!" you try to jump out of bed but a combination of your hurting leg and J.J., Hotch and Morgan stopped you. "if you are going to see him, you need to stay in your bed, the doctors will roll you to him.

You lay back down and set your leg back up onto your bed and wait for the doctors to come get you. They couldn't have been any slower! But luckily J.J., Hotch and Morgan all stayed with you and walked you to his room. It was only a couple of rooms away from yours.

As your are rolled into the room, you see the rest of the team surrounding spencer's bed. When spencer sees you he smiles but then he frowns, "what happened to you! I thought your leg was fine!" you just look at him like he's crazy. "I'm not the one who just overdosed, calm down." As the doctors roll your bed up next to spencer's, he falls and starts seizing. You yell spencer's name, but the doctors pull the curtain between you guys.

The whole team is ushered out of the room, but they can't roll you out of the room fast enough, so you are stuck in the room with only a little curtain between you. You can here his bed shaking but you can't see him. You start crying but no one pays attention to you, they just want to help spencer.

After about 2 minutes of spencer seizing, you can finally hear the shaking stop, you pull the curtain and see him laying on his bed motionless as the heart monitor goes flat.
