You had to stay at the hospital for another 2 weeks before you could even be considered for going home. When two weeks had passed, you still could not walk without holding onto someone. Everyday, someone from your team came to help you with physical therapy. Unless they were on a case. Then Spencer was with you. He hadn't been cleared for the field yet because of his arm. When the doctor asked if you live with anyone that could help you, you try to say no one, but spencer interrupts you.
"yes, she does, me actually. We had just moved in before all of this happened." The doctor looks and you suspiciously, but he seemed to believe you. When the doctor left the room, spencer walks over to you and sits down next to you and kisses you. You don't try to resist even though your whole body still hurts. When he pulls away, he sees the pain on your face.
"Y/N! you need to tell me when you're in pain! I've put you through enough, you can tell me when you need me to stop."
"this isn't your fault and it doesn't hurt that bad." You say as you try to laugh it off, but spencer doesn't believe you.
"you should blame me for the rest of your life. Let's see, I have gotten you kidnapped, twice! Your leg broken, you being shot, you being addicted to the same drug I was addicted to. The list could go on forever." You lean into spencer and kiss him through the pain. "I will never blame you for any of this, I love you too much to make you feel bad for something you didn't even do. Besides, it was charlotte, she did all of that to me."
"I guess you are right. But I will spend the rest of my live making it up to you." Spencer says as he stands back up. He gets down on one knee and you can't believe what you are seeing.
The whole team walked into the room and surrounded you and spencer.
"Y/N Y/L/N, will you make me the happiest man in the world, will you marry me?" spencer says as he smiles at you with the happiest face you have ever seen.
"of course, I will! I love you so much spencer Reid!!" you say fighting back tears. Your whole team cheers for you both. Spencer stands up and helps you stand up. He picks you up and kisses you. You knew from this moment, there was nothing that would make you happier.
