You decided to tell Hermonie about what happened with you and Malfoy after Harry's name came from the goblet.

'What happened between them, exactly?' You ask her. Apparently Harry and Ron got into a big fight about his name coming from the goblet.

'Ron's jealous, I think. But, I'm not happy about Harry's name coming out either. I honestly don't even want to be around him right now.'

'How could it have happened though? You seen Fred and George. They tried and it backfired, so it's impossible for Harry to have put his name in there.'

'I think he asked someone, possible Cedric? Could you ask him (y/n)?' Hermonie asks.

'Hermonie, I doubt Cedric would have done that.' But Hermonie just gives you the puppy dog eyes.

You don't feel comfortable asking. It doesn't seem like your place to. You think about it for a minute.

'I guess.' You finally say. You leave the Gryffindor table and go look for Cedric, you need to talk to him anyway.

You're walking through the great hall when you bump into Harry. 'Harry, how are you holding up?' You ask him. He doesn't answer and walks past you. 'I'm on your side, you know. I don't think you put your name in there.'

He turns around and gives you a hug. You both just stand there for a little bit and you can feel him shaking a little. From anger or sadness, you don't know.

'I have to compete.' He says quietly. 'I have no choice. I don't want to do this (y/n). I don't.'

You let him go and look him in the eyes. 'I believe you, okay? I don't want you to do this either, Harry. After everything you have been through though, I think you can handle the tournament. It'll be scary, but on the bright side, you have Cedric, a fellow Hogwarts student.'

'You seemed more nervous about Cedric being chosen than me.' He said sadly.

'I was terrified for Cedric, yes, but after your name came out...' You stop talking. You don't even know how to continue.

He gives you a sad smile and walks away. You let out a long sigh and decide to go to the Hufflepuff common room and find Cedric, usually he is there.

When you enter the room, you see Cedric sitting on the couch talking to his friends.

'Cedric,' you say, but he doesn't look at you, 'Cedric!' you say a little louder. He looks at you and you gesture him to come to you. He looks at his friends and gets up and walks to you.

'What?' He asks a little annoyingly.

'I was wondering if you put Harry's name in the goblet.' You ask quietly. He shakes his head and walks away. 'Cedric! Why won't you just talk to me?' But he doesn't say anything.

'Ced, leave your girlfriend and come back to hang out with us, your true friends.' You give your fellow Hufflepuff a glare and Cedric looks back at you and mouths 'sorry.'

'Is it because I wouldn't talk to you earlier?' But at that point, you don't even exist to him anymore.

You start to feel numb. Don't do this now. Please don't start doing this. The thought of Hermonie not wanting to be around you because of Harry and Cedric doing this, is starting to get the better of you. And Malfoy definitely isn't helping the situation at all. You've been at Hogwarts for two months and everything is going bad. You don't want to be depressed, but your emotions are getting the better of you.

--------------------

Nothing got easier after that. Hermonie would only talk to you if it was just you two, Ron wasn't talking to you at all and Cedric has paid you no attention—assuming the popularity got the best of him and he just wants to spend time with kids his age. It bothered you, but you understood and like how close you and Harry became.

Lately, you haven't seen Malfoy around, which is good, probably because you're always around Harry now. Even thought Malfoy loves to insult Harry, he doesn't particularly bother the others that he is around. Harry has been getting a lot of hate and he is glad that you're with him, he needs someone who understands.

You and Harry are sitting by the lake and Neville is standing in the water, admiring... whatever it is that he found when you hear voices. You and Harry turn around to see Hermonie, Ron and Ginny. Hermonie looks annoyed.

'Ronald would like me to tell you that Hagrid is looking for you.'

'Well you can tell Ronald..' Harry says before Hermonie turns around and almost yells at Harry.

'I'm not an owl!' And they all leave, trying to calm Hermonie down.

You get up and walk to Harry and put your arm around him, laying your head on his shoulder. He just lays his head on yours and lets out a long sigh. 'I'm glad you're here.' He says before you and him go back to listening to Neville say 'amazing' more times than he needs to.

'Neville, stop please.' You say as he stares at whatever new creature he has in his hand. He realizes what he's doing and apologizes again... and again... and again after every time you mention what he's doing.

Later that night, Harry asks you to go with him to Hagrid and you agree of course.

'Pay attention, this is important.' Hagrid says as you all walk into the forbidden forest. 'You brought your fathers cloak like I asked, right?' Harry nods. 'Why did you bring (y/n) it would've been better to come alone.'

'Hello, I'm right here!' You say annoyingly. 'Why does it matter that I'm here anyway?'

'Because, she is the only one..' then Harry notices something. 'Hagrid, what's with the flower? Did you comb your hair?' He says shockingly.

Hagrid doesn't say anything and comes to halt when we hear a voice. He tells us to put the cloak over us, and you being small enough, you fit under their easily with Harry.

'Oh Hagrid, I thought you had forgotten me.' Madame Maxime says. You and Harry both look at each other and gag a little when looking back at Hagrid and Madame Maxime.

You hear loud noises ahead of you and Madame Maxime looks amazed. 'c'est magnifigue!' She squeals and starts walking closer.

'Dragons?' Harry asks while pulling the cloak off us. 'You're joking, that can't be the first task!'

A dragon shoots out fire and you and Harry both look at each other nervously, praying that it isn't.

'They aren't that bad. Although...' Hagrid says, 'that horntail is a piece of work. Ron nearly fainted just looking at it.'

'Ron was here?' You ask. 'He didn't say anything about it to Harry.'

Hagrid leaves you and Harry and goes after Madame Maxime, so you and Harry make your way out of the forbidden forest without saying another word to each other.
