Luke got into the car and stared out of the window as the driver drove out of the school. The sun seemed exceptionally bright and it shone not trying to without its radiance."Play Justin Bieber" Luke said and the driver fumbled with the buttons of the CD a bit before Intentions by Justin Bieber started playing.
Luke chuckled a little before smiling lightly. The day ended on a nice note. Even the driver noticed Luke's good mood and couldn't help but smile.
Luke got down from the car carrying his bag with his left hand, his other hand in his pockets. He opened the door and there was a slight middle aged man seated in the sofa.
The man's handsome face made it difficult to guess whether he was in his late 20s' or his late 30s' or even maybe his late 40s'.
Seeing him, one wouldn't wonder where Luke got his devilishly handsome face from. He was the exact replica of him.
Surprise was written all over Luke's face. If someone from school saw him that minute; such a person would be shocked beyond words. Because except a frown, a calm expression or an expressionless face; no one expression has been found on his face before.
"Dad?" Luke called out.
"Hello son" the man said with a huge smile that brought his attractive face to another whole level.
Like dropped his bag and ran towards him while the older man hugged him while rubbing his hair.
"You've gotten taller in two months" the man exclaimed as they broke the hug.
"2m" Luke said as the man looked at him with a smile.
"And you've gotten more handsome. Girls disturbing you a lot these days?" Mr Adele-Akinniyi asked and Luke plopped on the sofa beside him.
"Exactly why I got the band aid on my lip" Luke replied and his dad laughed.
"Take it easy huh?" He said and Luke nodded.
"Did anything go wrong? You took longer in Russia this time around" Luke said with a concerned face.
Mr Adele-Akinniyi pursed his lips and nodded "We ran into some trouble. Some organization were also interested in the tech. We had to reach a compromise" he started as Luke narrowed his eyes.
"So you lost it?" Luke asked.
"No we got it but we had to increase the money by almost a billion" Mr Adele-Akinniyi replied as Like nodded.
"I'll get you your money back. Those freaking lossers" Luke said with a yawn and his dad laughed.
"So I'm home, wanna play PES? I'm gonna beat your ass this time around" Mr Adele-Akinniyi said with a huge smile.
A smile broke on Luke's face immediately highlighting a small dimple on his face that made his attractiveness take another level as he raised an eyebrow at his dad "You sure?"

Luke walked around in his room as he pursed his lips. He walked towards a door at the end of the room and pushed it open.It was a mini gallery. Different drawings could be seen in the room. There was a portrait of Luke's mom in pants and suit. There was another with his dad in pyjamas.
There was one with Kunle seating on his seat cross legged. Another one where Kunle was playing basketball and another where he slid his hands into his pockets with a smile.
Luke found a seat as he picked an empty canvas. He picked a pencil and started drawing calmly. The drawing started to slowly take shape with an exquisite rather feminine face then slightly long hair.
After a few minutes, Luke dropped the pencil and stared at the drawing. At one glance; one would notice that it was Ewatomi's face.
A small smile was one her lips and it was rather the way she looked at Luke's figure earlier. Luke tilted his head at the picture and then his lips curled up slightly.
At the far end of the gallery stood an old drawing. The drawing was a girl seating down with shorts and ragged top. If one looked more at the picture; one would discover it was Ewatomi and that was the cloth she wore the day she went with her brother to watch a football match.
"Wow!"
Luke heard an exclamation at his back and he shook his head while packing his drawing materials.
"Its a girl" Mr Adele-Akinniyi said with a mischievous smile and Luke turned to him shaking his head.
"Don't even think about it" Luke said as his dad burst into laughter.
"I wasn't thinking" Mr Adele-Akinniyi said as Luke stood up and turned to the picture.
"Your shade has gotten better" Mr Adele-Akinniyi commented as he nodded at the picture.
"She's pretty. Who's she?" He asked further.
Luke stared at the drawing without a word. His eyes went to the far end of the gallery before turning back to the portrait.
"Ewatomi" Luke replied.
"She definitely deserves the name" he said as he turned to Luke.
"Your mom should be here soon. Let's go down; let's go out to eat" He said and Luke nodded as he followed his dad out of the gallery.
"You didn't get me anything from Russia?" Luke asked with a puzzled face.
"I haven't unpacked" Mr Adele-Akinniyi replied as Luke glared at him.
"And you've gotten more lazy. That's probably the reason why you had to had a few millions to the deal because you were too lazy to deal with it yourself" Luke said and his father grinned at him.
"You apparently also took that gene from me too" Mr Adele-Akinniyi said and Luke hissed lightly before wearing an amused smile.
"Change into something simple, we don't want the waiter pouring the food away again" Mr Adele-Akinniyi said but he knew better.
With a face like Luke's; whether he went simple or sophisticated; he was born to attract attention. They had gone to eat out in a restaurant and the waitress could take her eyes off Luke and ended up pouring a cup of water on his mom.
It was a funny incident that his dad never failed to bring up sometimes just to tease him.
