The Special Mate

Chapter 5

Ava POV

Ava looks at the wolf and see it was her brother "James! What the hell why would you sneak up on me like that!?" She snaps at him and pushes him off of her "sorry sis I couldn't help me self" he said smiling at her "well next time i'll bite you for doing that but anyways what are you doing here? I thought you went to go live with your mate" Ava sat up looking at him alittle worried thinking something might have happened to her "I did go live with her and everything is fine can I not come too see my little sis i mean I haven't seen you in so long" "guess you have a point" Ava gets up and brushes the dirt off of her and then she helps her brother up "but really don't do that again just because you my older brother doesn't mean I won't rip your tail off"

   James rolled his eyes and laughs alittle "alright whatever you say sis now come on I'm going to school with you" James grabs her and takes  her to school "James  you dont even know where your going" "oh yeah know where I'm going you go this ways all the time your sent is really strong"

On the ways to school James finally realized that Ava had her tail tucked away he went behind her and pulled it out "really sis your hiding your tail again" "yeah I'm hiding it again you got a problem with that?" She said turning around and looking up at him "yeah I got a problem with It sis you shouldnt hide what you are" Ava rolled her eyes and put her tail back and growled alittle "yeah...that's what you said last time and look where it got us dad is dead and we had to move again" "oh come on sis your still mad about" Ava turns around And snaps at him James held his hands up "ok ok i get it your still mad about that" Ava turned around and walked inside the school with Gage walking close behind her "And will you stop following me!?" Ava said as she growled warning him to leave  her alone

NICK POV

Nick was walking to school like he normally do until he saw another male with his mate. Nick started to growl he was about to walk over to them. But then he sees him pull something out. It was her tail!? But it wasn't a normal wolf tail it was a demons tail! Nick couldn't believe his eye Ava was an actual half demon he thought he was seeing things last night. Nick was day dreaming thinking about how cute Ava was with her tail but then he snapped back into reality. When he realized that they was gone.
"Max where they go"
"They went in side Ava seemed mad at him you think everything thing is ok?" Nick asked sounding worried about his mate
"Nick I'm sure she's fine besides she's part demon she can take care of herself"
"Your right max your right now we better go before we are late"
Nick walked inside on the and seen that Ava and James was still fighting nick had enough of this he walked over to him and  pushed him away from her
"Back the fuck away from my mate"
James didn't fight back all he did was back away "woah now im not looking for a fight I'm just talking to m-"
Nick growled at him "not looking for a fight is looks like your fighting with my mate so back off she mine not yours"
All a sudden nick heard Ava laughing then gage looks at her "sis really its not that funny" "y-yes it is!"
But nick looks at them confused "wait...He's your brother..."

Ava POV

"Wait...He's your brother..."
Ava stops laughing and looks at him "yeah he's my brother what  did you think he was"
"Well I thought that he was your..." Ava interrupted him
"My boyfriend? No but even if he wasn't my brother I wouldn't date him he's to annoying sorry James and besides that he has a mate"
"Oh...that makes sense now but what was  y'all yelling about and why did pull your tell out"
Ava and James looked at him a minute then they looked back at each other
Ava just let out a sign then she looks at him again "ok one you wasn't suppose to see that and please don't tell anyone what you seen especially what you seen at your pack house and second we was yelling at each other about something dump so don't be sorry about that"
Nick looks at them both then nods "promise I won't say anything you have my word on that"
Ava smiles at him "good now we need to go before we are late for class" she said puting her tail back where it was before her brother James pulled it out. She then heads to her class. When she got to her classroom she stopped dead in her foot steps she started to back awake until she bumped into her brother.

"...sis? You ok?" He asked looking down at her

"H-He's here....L-Luke is here"

"What do you mean luke is here" he moves passed her to see what she was talking about until she stopped him "don't look he could see you!" She whispered to him so luke doesn't hear her "sis...its going to be fine I'm here this time and you have nick with you" Ava sighs little knowing that he was right she had them to help if anything bad happened to her. She looks at him and smiles little then walk into the class room when she did she had her head down and  sit down at her desk
