Chapter 13 - Lost

"Wait, Captain!!" I shouted, swiftly holding into Luffy's hand before he could even run off to nowhere. 

The black-haired teen snapped back to me, making both of us collapse down into the dirt. I grumbled under my breath as I try to shake the dizziness off. Internally calming myself as to not punch the strawhat boy. Well, it's not like it would work anyway.

"Kimiko, we need to hurry!!" Luffy yelled, a serious expression plastered onto his face. I just stared at him for a second before looking around to observe the place.

We were near the clothing store that I went to yesterday. Moreover, I quite remember how I got here from the north shore. From what I remember, It would only take a couple of minutes if we started from here.

"Captain, I think I remember how to go back to our boat. You follow me and don't run off on your own, okay?" I muttered, standing up and reaching a hand towards the lad.

"Eh? Why didn't you say so?! Come on, let's go!!!" Luffy declared, edging for us to reach the destination already.

"We need to go straight there-!! Gahk!!" I yelped, not able to finish my sentence since the captain wrapped his arm around my waist and proceeded to drag me to the direction I pointed to.

"Yosh!!! Let's go!!!"

"Captain, let me down!!!"

"Run north! Run north!!" Luffy huffed as he continued to dash away from the village while still carrying me on his shoulder. I squirmed a bit as I felt his form poking onto my stomach.

The raven head must have noticed that I was uncomfortable because he loosened his hold on me a bit. Though, I remained slumped on him.

I tried my best to look around and distinguish the area even with Luffy running so fast. My eyes squinted as I caught sight of the landmark which I used so I can remember how to go back.

"Turn right!!" I directed, pinching the captain ever so slightly so he would gather his focus on me. But, of course, he didn't quite hear what I appointed him to do.

"Go back!! We need to turn there!"

"Huf! Huf!"

"Captain!!! I said, go back!!"

"North! North!!!"

"... Why do I even bother. Fine, let's get lost together!" I grumbled, defeated, seeing that the black-haired teen wasn't even heeding to my directions. I wonder if he can even hear me with how loud he is panting.

"Kimiko, this is a dead-end!" Luffy finally stopped once we reached a high wall that blocked our path. The strawhat boy peered up at my figure, finally deciding to put his attention onto me.

"Yeah, I noticed." I threateningly grinned at the odd lad. If only the captain doesn't look so innocent and if we weren't in such a hurry, I would have let him wander off like an idiot untill we find the shore. However, this is a time in which we shouldn't be late.

"Charge!!"

I tense ever so slightly as I sense a small part of me getting pulled to where I guess the fight is happening. I frowned, staring off to that direction where I felt the surge of happiness. It disappeared as soon as my powers sensed it. Something is going on, and if I have to guess, the battle is most probably happening already. I can tell which way to go, however, that doesn't really do me well when I am being carried at my captain's shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

"Ehhh?!! Which way is north?!"
