Zach Herron, the smallest, youngest, and most fragile member of why don't we. Zach has been getting hate for as long as he can remember. One day, a fan calls out to him during a show, making everything worse. Will the hate get to him?
*WARNINGS*
...
I was happy. I missed the boys a lot, Jack even more than the rest but I was happy. No social media, no hate, no stress and no institution. I was okay for once. I leave the pier, heading to the shops. I liked walking them every so often to see the little beach trinkets.
I walk into one of them, my eyes immediately landing on a green sea turtle necklace. It was beautiful. I walk over to it, my eyes raking over the glass work.
"Do you like it?" I look up, a small smile coming to my face as I see the older woman I've come to be acquainted with.
"I love it it's beautiful." I say, glancing back at the case it was in.
"I'm sure your lady will love it." I blush, looking at her.
"Oh I'm not my uh my boyfriend and I aren't really talking right now." I admit, looking back at the necklace.
"Zachary Herron! Why on earth are you here and not talking to him then?" I put my hands in my pockets, glancing at her once more.
"Um we or i, I guess I should say kinda ran away. He said some things I wasn't too happy with. I got scared." I shrug, glancing at my shoes
"Oh Zach dear why didn't you just talk to him about it?" She asks softly.
"I know how he is. He would have made me go. Sharon." She sighs before glancing at the necklace.
"You never know unless you ask." She says softly. I glance at the necklace before nodding.
"Well I'm thirsty. See you around Sharon." She smiles, waving at me.
"Talk to your boy!" I smile small, leaving the shop. I walk down a few stores, walking into the Starbucks.
"Hi what can we get you?" The girl asks.
"Can I get a venti green tea?" I ask.
"Of course. What was the name?"
"Zach."
"Awesome we'll have that right out." She says as I hand her the money.
"Thanks." I walk over to the new cups they had, looking at the patterns. Huh these were cool.
"Order for Jason?" I glance over, watching as she hands the boy his drink. I could see mine on the counter next so I walked over, grabbing a few sugar packets.
"Order for Zach!" I take the drink from her, thanking her. I turn around and my face pales as brown eyes meet brown eyes. Holy shit hes here. Jack is here.
Corbyn turns around, his eyes widening. Without a second thought I quickly leave the shop, running down the line of shops. I turn down one of the ally ways, glancing around before I recognize the road. My hotel was two buildings away. I enter, completely out of breath as I walk towards the elevator. That was close.
I walk out of the elevator and to my room, closing the door behind me. I take a sip of my drink before kicking off my shoes and heading out on the deck. I miss him I do I'm just not ready.
I glance over the water as Sharon's words echo in my head. Talk to the boy you never know unless you ask him. It was too late wasn't it? I ran away like a coward. Hes probably already going home.
What is wrong with me?
