Chapter 34- Soobin

Soobin's POV     :)

Soobin grimaced.

Yikes, Rat Face's speech isn't going so well.

Soobin was currently watching Yeonjun speak from the balcony. He was in the room next to the balcony, so he could hear and see everything.

Soobin observed Yeonjun's face.

Rat Face looks so scared and vulnerable right now. He looks like a scared little fox, not like the cocky person he usually acts like.

Soobin saw Yeonjun quiver on the spot. Nervousness and worry was starting to hammer at Soobin's insides.

Why are people being so mean to him? He just slipped up and people started coming at him!

Even I can't can't think of a reason to start screaming at him for no reason, and I hate Rat Face!

Soobin saw Yeonjun back away from the balcony.

Oh no, is he going to run-

Right when Soobin thought that, Yeonjun dashed out of the place.

Soobin bit his lip.

He looks so sad and hurt. I could see his worried and stressed face from here.

Soobin's protective side was kicking in. Even though he hates Yeonjun, this person was the future King. Soobin literally is in an organization with him! He can't ignore Yeonjun forever.

He seems so lost and sad. Should I help him?

Soobin immediately made up his mind.

Even though he hates me, I should help him. I can't help it, I have to comfort him.

Soobin dashed to where Yeonjun was heading.

He watched Yeonjun slam the door of his bedroom.

I think he forgot to lock the door. What a dumbass.

But that made Soobin's job easier. Soobin tiptoed to the door, then he checked to see if anyone was around.

No one was in the halls.

Soobin nodded and proceeded to open the unlocked door.

He stepped inside and immediately felt a pang of guilt well up inside of him.

Yeonjun was hugging a pillow and crying. He seems so tiny squeezed up against the bed.

Yeonjun looked up and gasped. Then he he immediately slapped a hand over his mouth.

Soobin softly smiled. He took a slow step towards Yeonjun.

Yeonjun didn't do anything to stop Soobin, so he walked over to Yeonjun and sat on the bed right next to him.

Yeonjun sniffled and covered his face. Soobin just sat there.

What the fuck am I supposed to do?!

Soobin gulped. "Umm.. hey, I know we aren't the best of friends, but...umm... don't be sad about what just happened."

Yeonjun looked up at him slowly.

"W-wait," he hiccuped, "Y-you saw what happened?"

Soobin grinned. "Of course I did! This is something everyone would want to see. The future King speaking to his people."

Soobin glanced at Yeonjun's face. 

"Anyways, I just want to tell you that it's okay. We all make mistakes and people WILL judge you. But you have to ignore all the stupid comments people throw at you because those are unnecessary. Don't let false statements get in your way. Think of those comments like sharp stones on the road. At first you will come across tons of stones, and they will hurt you, but you have to steer away from them. The stones will still be on the road, but soon enough, it won't be a bother at all."
