Chapter 55- Yeonjun

Yeonjun's POV

She is lying.

She has to be.

Right?!?

My parents are the King and Queen of Ayra right??

Then why is this random lady saying I'm her son?!?

"Sorry, you must have the wrong Yeonjun-"

"Choi Yeonjun!" the woman hollered.

Yeonjun bit his lip to keep himself quiet.

The Queen of Destia looked hesitantly at the King. "I..... it was an accident. You weren't supposed to be born."

Oh wow, that's nice to know.

"I'm sorry, it's just- one day, many years ago, I went to a club. I got drunk, met someone, yadada, and got pregnant with you. Of course the person I met just HAD to be the King of Ayra. No one could know that the Queen of Destia and the King of Ayra had a child, so we kept you a secret. The King of Ayra weaved a cover-up story. He convinced the doctors that HIS wife was pregnant, so his wife was put in a nine month coma, and in the mean time I was pregnant with you. I wasn't put in a nine month coma because no one knew I was pregnant. I went on a small trip elsewhere so no one would get suspicious of my growing stomach. I gave birth to you in a small cabin. The King of Ayra visited the cabin and took you to his own Palace. Everyone thought that Yeonjun was the Queen Mina's baby, but no one in that kingdom knew the truth. After that, I went back to my Castle and was forced to keep this whole ordeal a secret."

Yeonjun raised an eyebrow. Many things were on his mind at the moment.

My whole life is a lie!

How the fuck is the King okay with this??

"You must be wondering," the King said, the corner of his lip curling a bit, "How I think about this whole situation."

The King strutted to the center of the room. "I'll admit, at first I wasn't suspicious at all. When my wife left the Palace, she said she wanted to go away for some time, so I let her go. The thing is, she only returned about nine months later! I demanded to know where she went and why she left for so long. I could tell that my wife was hiding something from me. I eventually forced the truth out of her."

The King clapped his hands together and smiled a red-lipped smile. "You could imagine how angry I was. My wife managed to get pregnant with a boy! Not only that, but the boy's father was the King of Ayra!! That created one big problem for me."

The King paused for dramatic effect.

"That meant that I have an heir, someone to take the throne from me." The King's palms curled into fists. "I want to rule for AS LONG AS I CAN WITH NO ONE GETTING IN MY WAY!"

Yeonjun shuttered.

This guy is like Voldemort 2.0!

THIS BITCH IS BASICALLY MY STEP FATHER!!

"When I found out about Yeonjun, I sent my men (the robbers) to the Palace of Ayra. I told them to make it look like they were taking gold, but in reality, they were searching for Yeonjun."

The King rubbed his hands together. "Keep in mind that Yeonjun's birth wasn't announced. This whole time, the King of Ayra never told his wife that Yeonjun wasn't her son. I'm pretty sure she still doesn't know that Yeonjun isn't truly her son. Anyways, my men captured Yeonjun, but baby Yeonjun managed to escape. He ended up in an orphanage, and you should know the rest."

Yeonjun was dumbfounded. All of this random information was just dumped on him. How is he supposed to react?

All of a sudden Yeonjun felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned his head to see Soobin looking directly into his eyes.
